Apparently the fire is out or at least contained now. The platform is non-productive, i.e. not drilling anything. They were apparently preparing it to go back into production. There is no leaking well or anything else like that.

At least there's a plan to save the walruses.

Update: Coast Guard says fire is out. Two workers dead, according to platform owner. Two may still be missing. At least four transported in critical condition. 20-25 miles southwest of Grand Isle. Production platform, not in active production. 28 people aboard at the time of explosion.
