Rufus Lee King: Well, hell, that's how I picked up most of my collector's items. "What have you bought on eBay lately?" "Dunno. Let me go see." Twinkies? |

And... $8800 doesn't seem like a hell of a lot. I mean, shiat, there are 300 million of us. Seems a bit low. |

I probably don't even spend that much on myself- excluding cost of living, of course-- so I'm not sure how my savings are going to exceed that. But yes, I do find some pretty good deals on hotels, local restaurants, events, etc now and then. |

Subby's poorly written headline would indicate that we saved approximatley .00000002 per person. |

I paid $1500 for several antique iron levels on eBay. Sold all but 2 for $3700 at local auction. Yay me. |

Rufus Lee King: Actually, I was looking to stock up on Ding-Dongs, but something went horribly wrong when I typed that into the search engine. It's even worse if you search for Twinkies. Trust me. |

Amazon and beer and MP3s and me. National figure would have been .000022 each. |
||
| monty666 What? People purchase strange things when they're drunk and alone on the internet? No way, man. |

wildlifer: I saved BIG on tires for the truck and trailers. Tireteam.com Amazon prime is worth every penny! I can't imagine how amazon prime is worth a golden damn, but I have received over $4,000 worth of stuff free via amazon vine (got a couple of big ticket items). I don't know why they do it, I'm sure some day it will stop, but meanwhile I am not exactly complaining. / on balance, in fairness, i do take time out of my day to honestly and thoroughly review the amazon vine products I get. It's the least I can do given the program's generosity. |

| dickfreckle Rufus Lee King: Well, hell, that's how I picked up most of my collector's items. "What have you bought on eBay lately?" "Dunno. Let me go see." You and I are peas in a pod, bro. But drunk eBaying is like Corn Flakes and milk. They just go together. It's either that or send rambling, intoxicated emails to all my ex-girlfriends. Think I'll stick with eBay. /thinking about installing a Breathalyzer on my laptop |
