What is the official position of the Obonghit Administration on this matter?

Oh man. I can't wait to see the commodities pit for weed once it's legal nationwide. "Jamaican Red! Jamaican Red! Buying 500!" "White Widow April 200s, Selling!"

Commodities brokers yelling out weed slang is going to be hysterical.

This is an incredibly stupid stock to bet on. CBIS and companies who make vaporizers like NJoy and Blunte are the ones to watch right now.

And now it's down to $20, from $215 Thursday and $4 Monday. Helluva ride!

How is it legal to sell stock in a company whose business is illegal? "Dixie Elixirs & Edibles™ produces THC-infused medicinal beverages, medicated edible treats, medicated topicals, and tinctures..." yet it's traded OTC.

That's when you'll know the proverbial bubble has taken shape and to watch for a good time to sell.

You would have lost it all anyway because it tanked the following day.

It was 4 bucks, and even after tanking it's at 20. He would not have "lost it all."

These things werent 24 hours in my area, they had pre-rolled "cones" available only until 2 AM. Cheap shake joints up to hash and wax slathered spliffs. I never got into them but I could see them coming in handy if you are a big night owl, most pot shops dont stay open past 9-10 around here.

Theres a lot of money in the cannabis game for the sober folk, Ive known plenty of money hungry non-tokers getting in on the cannabis action for the past decade. You have quite a few people who grow out of smoking pot, but still realize how lucrative their garden habits are, especially when they arent smoking half of it. These people are essentially growing tomatoes worth their weight in gold. I had "leased" backyard space in my neighbors backyard in exchange for 1/3rd of the finished value for a couple years, he was an older man whose wife had died and needed the money, hadnt smoked pot in 40+ years. He got $1200-1600 those 2 years just for giving me the key to the backyard, got added security, plus the poor soul got someone to actually talk to. I've known other sober people to sell pot for their husbands/relatives as well, and theyre cut in one way or another.

I really dont want to see it all get corporatized in the end by people with no actual care for cannabis. Lucklily, if any demographic would embrace the anti-corporate, anti big business attitude, it would be potheads.

/If you've ever spent any substantial time in northern CA or southern OR, you know exactly what Im talking about

D_Evans45: You have quite a few people who grow out of smoking pot,

I always laugh about the idea that there's a natural tendency to "grow out" of pot smoking. I think in fact, that it's a drug far better suited to old people than young people.

True story: I know a 50ish woman who has terrible migraines. I said to her, "hey I heard somewhere that pot can head off migraines." She acted like I'd suggested drinking the blood of children. "I'd never do that!" "Why?" "Because," she said, smirking and puffing on a cigarette, "I grew up."

Okay.

A relative of mine is like that. Same story, pretty much, right down to the cigs...

I dont mean "grow out of it" in a condescending way or anything. Most people I know played around with pot as young adults but eventually quit smoking and growing the stuff as they got older. I certainly dont think older folk who partake are doing anything wrong, quite the opposite, I'd agree that they need the medicine more than us whippersnappers.

/Probably should have worded that better...

I've probably smoked more pot in the last 5 years after the age of 40 than I did in the previous 40 years combined. My kids are largely raised and I'm the boss, so I finally have the time and opportunity to do so.
