||
| Apos
Uh huh....So he got his $20 back? |
||
| AverageAmericanGuy
People in Seattle are tough. None of this crying to the authorities crap like New Yorkers do. |

Apos: Uh huh....So he got his $20 back? Did you miss the latest derivatives trading bubble on Wall Street? 6-packs of Dr. Pepper are currently trading at more than $600/unit. |

This being Seattle and all, I'm surprised the perps made it out alive while taking another man's caffeine source. |
||
| skinink The moral of the story is a Dr Pepper in the hand is worth two robbers in the bush. |
||

Apparently it isn't for women, but it is for thugs. Huh. |

I remember my grandmother was completely addicted to Dr. Pepper. If they tried to rob her they would have been in for a fight to the death. |

When was the last time you saw a 6-pack of Dr. Pepper? Seriously...I don't remember... |
||
| strangeluck If it ain't Dublin Dr Pepper, it ain't the good stuff. |
||
| KrispyKritter I'm a Pepper, the victim was a Pepper, and the two crooks wanted to be a Pepper too. |

odisae: I remember my grandmother was completely addicted to Dr. Pepper. If they tried to rob her they would have been in for a fight to the death. One of my friends in college was like that. Always had a can of Dr. Pepper in her hand. I've got more pictures of her that also have a Dr. Pepper in them than photos of her without. Whenever we passed a vending machine she'd buy one, and if she didn't have enough money (broke college kid) she'd beg her friends for change so she could get one. |

SubBass49: When was the last time you saw a 6-pack of Dr. Pepper? Seriously...I don't remember... 6-pack? Not sure. Box of 20 or 24? Today. |

Lost his Dr. Pepper? Probably saved his life... |

It's viral marketing, they paid the man and the two other guys to fake it, then made sure he wouldn't identify them to the police so no charges. What new low with large soft drink companies stoop to? The wound to dignity will not soon be mended, I need a Band-Aid. |

ciberido: SubBass49: When was the last time you saw a 6-pack of Dr. Pepper? Seriously...I don't remember... 6-pack? Not sure. Box of 20 or 24? Today. I have a 12 pack in my pantry right now. As far as 6 packs go- haven't seen them in a while. Is it because they killed the fishies, or because the marketing folks realized that if they eliminated the 6 pack option people would move on to the 12 and 24 packs? |

Hey, careful, man, there's a beverage here! |

A good prosecutor can turn that into 31 counts of misdemeanor assault. |

I call BULLSHIAT on this....as stated do they really still sale 6-packs?? and if they did, everywhere I have been the 12 or 24 would probably be cheaper. Can some Seattleite provide an actual picture of a shelf full of 6-packs if not then dude was lying!! |

If he'd accepted treatment, the story would've included the line: "surgeons were able to re-attach the man's Dr. Pepper" |
||
| FizixJunkee
Completely irrelevant: You can find Dr. Pepper (made with sugar rather than HFCS) in grocery stores (e.g., Sainsbury's and Tesco's) in the UK. It was a pleasant surprise. |

| Madame Psychosis odisae: I remember my grandmother was completely addicted to Dr. Pepper. If they tried to rob her they would have been in for a fight to the death. I'm going to be this old lady one day. Dr. Pepper is my beverage of choice. My grandma is like that with Coke. There were times in my childhood I remember her being up to a 6-pack a day. When she dies, Coca Cola is going to wonder what happened to their P&L statement. |

SubBass49: When was the last time you saw a 6-pack of Dr. Pepper? Seriously...I don't remember... Cans or bottles? I'm guessing that you and others are thinking cans, because I've seen 6 packs of bottles everywhere. |
||
| Jeremiahe
To be fair though, maybe Dr. Pepper comes in 8 packs or something and that's the confusion...I just know that 6 packs of soda/pop are pretty common, unless you're thinking of cans. |

Was it Diet DP?...Might have deserved it. |
