One of my friends in college was like that. Always had a can of Dr. Pepper in her hand. I've got more pictures of her that also have a Dr. Pepper in them than photos of her without. Whenever we passed a vending machine she'd buy one, and if she didn't have enough money (broke college kid) she'd beg her friends for change so she could get one.

I have a 12 pack in my pantry right now. As far as 6 packs go- haven't seen them in a while. Is it because they killed the fishies, or because the marketing folks realized that if they eliminated the 6 pack option people would move on to the 12 and 24 packs?

Completely irrelevant: You can find Dr. Pepper (made with sugar rather than HFCS) in grocery stores (e.g., Sainsbury's and Tesco's) in the UK. It was a pleasant surprise.

I'm going to be this old lady one day. Dr. Pepper is my beverage of choice.

My grandma is like that with Coke. There were times in my childhood I remember her being up to a 6-pack a day. When she dies, Coca Cola is going to wonder what happened to their P&L statement.

Cans or bottles? I'm guessing that you and others are thinking cans, because I've seen 6 packs of bottles everywhere.

To be fair though, maybe Dr. Pepper comes in 8 packs or something and that's the confusion...I just know that 6 packs of soda/pop are pretty common, unless you're thinking of cans.
