Here's my question: Is A Christmas Story 2 a direct sequel to the first one, or does it take place after It Runs In The Family/My Summer Story? I want to make sure I watch them in canon order, but I've only been able to find a copy of ACS2 thus far.

If you're going to go to the trouble of putting on a play, make sure you don't lift your premise from one of the bits you wait through on Prairie Home Companion in between musical numbers.
