How the hell does this guy even have a job? He's dumber than paint, not telegenic and not even provocative in the Limbaugh/Beck way. He's provocative in the "go tell your little brother to grab his dick and say 'dig my junk' at grandpa's party" way. You'd think they could hire a 6 year old for a lot less and get roughly the same content. |
||
| Ambivalence Unlike Brian, who majored in "heavy metals" in college. His dissertation on the gastronomy of lead paint chips is facinating. |

Get it right, Kilmeade Megyn Kelly needs to straighten his ass out. Also, TIL that Megyn Kelly is 4 years older than me. Holy crap. I thought she was in her early thirties. |

I didn't know that was his name, but when I clicked and saw his pic ... yuck. I can't stand that little creep. But what he said doesn't offend me in the least. Fox News itself is far more offensive. FTA: "... we go to the Victoria's Secret catalog and we said, "Can any of these people talk?" And they all could and they all went to college." He's saying the women he works with are attractive and intelligent. I don't see a problem -- again, outside of the fact that they work for Fox News, which means they're empty-headed bimbos. The guys are, anyway. |
||
| Somacandra I don't get it. Fox has virulently race-baiting crap on all the time and this gets Kilmeade in trouble? Somehow I doubt it. |

Lionel Mandrake ![]() This are serious infromation |

I just realized that the reason this doesn't offend me is because it's Fox. If it were a reputable news organization (hold your laughter), it probably would bother me. But nobody who matters takes Fox seriously, so this isn't important. |
||
| Mr. Coffee Nerves That's why I prefer Telemundo and Univision -- none of this "went to college" garbage wasting my time. |
||
| MmmmBacon His eyes are way too close together. Darwin has failed us by letting him live to adulthood. |

I'm guessing most of the people who were "offended" by the comment are the type of people who would never actually watch Fox News for informational purposes anyways. |

Silly Jesus: [rightpunditry.files.wordpress.com image 468x1470] Gold Diggers vs Book Readers. I recall a quote from Chris Rock: "If you look good, you're going to have a good life. The uglier you are, the smarter you'd better be. You need a book for every ten pounds you're overweight. Or you'd better get two books, and get a computer while you're at it!" |

Isn't that just a catalog that Republicans use to beat off to to make themselves feel better? |

Close. It's what Victoria kept secret. |

I'm not entirely certain why he's in trouble. I guess it would have been more accurate if he'd said they went through former Miss Americas and then made sure they had fascist political views. |

What's more sexist, talking about hot Fox chicks, msnbc hiring girls that look like little boys or obama getting all thuggy because some GOP guy is questioning his shorty at the UN? |

The funny thing is, while it is intended as hah-hah-demoncrap-biatches-are-ugly, in this thread, it can be read as suggesting that the left values other traits over eye-candy. Nice own-goal there, mate. |

Why would Fox hire liberal intellectuals who went to college? |

thamike: [i.dailymail.co.uk image 306x325] Victoria's secret that lives in the crawlspace? I was wondering about that myself. Sure, there are SOME attractive women on there, but that could be said about any network. Apparently he's getting the entirely wrong VS catalogs... |

The guys are, anyway. No, he's saying that primarily he thinks Fox only wants attractive ladies and the intelligence is something secondary they see as being necessary. Notice he didn't say what kind of degree, like journalism, just a degree. Why this is wrong is, even if the allegation is untrue, is he believes that where he works that the women are looks first, merit last. This is bad for the attractive ladies as well as even if they have merit, it's likely to be glossed over for the primary concern. But this guy was an asshole already, so I'm not sure how this really changes that. |

The only people outraged by his "women are everywhere" and "Victoria's secret comments are those who have no sense of humor and think that what something is to them is what it is period and it doesn't matter that not everyone sees it the same way they do. |
