Mike hasn't had enough of con men making huge coin off his name/sweat. Yes he will pull in money, there is a built-in audience of support for most every figurehead in life.

Picture is a bit creepy looking but more power to him. It appears the charity is set up to help kids who are in a situation sililar to his as a child. The death of his daughter changed him in many ways for the better and I have no doubt his heart is inhe right place regarding this charity.

Good luck Mike, I am pulling for you.

That is the scariest logo I've ever seen on a charity site... maybe anywhere.

I didn't know Mike had any money to spare.

Alternate motto: "Give till it hurts -- till it feels like I punched your nose bone up into your brain."

Somehow, the thought that Iron Mike is going to be able to resurrect his public image into public-minded philanthropist is, to borrow a word from Iron Mike's lexicon -- woo-dah-kwisp.

FTA: The organization vows to "give kids a fighting chance" by offering innovative centers that provide for the comprehensive needs of kids from broken homes.

I'm not sure quite what "offering innovating centers" means, but good on him.

/I thought it was gonna be a 'save the pigeons' kind of campaign

I don't think he does. I bet an advisor told him that he needs some cash, and "hey, let's set up this charity, make you the head of it, rake in some dough and pay you a big salary. Suckas will line up to give you cash."

I have done exactly zero research on my theory, but Tyson does not have a sparkling reputation when it comes to his associates. It really could be legit, but I am on the side that says it will take in a bunch of money but also have a lot of expenses that don't necessarily go towards actually helping kids.

/hope I am wrong

When I see "Mike Tyson" and "Animal Advocate" together, I figure that he wants Kodiak grizzly bears to have the right to vote.

Let's see what charitable convicted felon, Mike Tyson, thinks about George Zimmerman.

Mike Tyson on George Zimmerman: 'It's a disgrace he hasn't been shot yet'

"That's the only kind of retribution that people like that understand. It's a disgrace that man hasn't been shot yet. Forget about him being arrested--the fact that he hasn't been shot yet is a disgrace. That's how I feel personally about it."

I think that rapists like Mike Tyson deserve the same treatment.

After I saw his film Tyson, he comes across an amazingly complicated man with a lot of demons, but he is fighting real hard to be good. I like the guy, and he has a very real depth to his character, and it makes him a very interesting human being, to me.

Mike Tyson may be the only non-Maori in the world who looks right and good with a Maori tribal tattoo. But I digress.

Mike Tysons's new charity is called Ears for Queers. It was, oddly enough, not part of a plea-bargain. The object of the charity is to provide homosexuals with ears to replace those inadvertantly bitten off by vampyres, lovers, rough trade and so forth.

Mike Tyson will select the lucky queers and bite the ears off of appropriate donors himself.

Whenever possible, efforts will be made to match the shape, size and coloration of the remaining ear. In the event the queer needs two ears, efforts will be made to ensure that they are from the same donor or at least match fairly well.

In 2016, Mike Tyson will be coming out of the closet after being charged with beating up another woman. He will acknowledge that his hatred of women is the result of being a deeply closeted self-hating gay because of the sad events of his youth and boxing career, where homosexuals are a constant menace to young boxers. He will shut down Ears for Queers and start up a new charity, Queers for Rears. He will give back Evander Hollyfield's ear with profuse apologies.

He will then bite Hollyfield's ass.

But in a good way.
