| Shadow Blasko You best your sweet ass I submitted this with a less trite headline. |

I expect FARK's crowd to show up curious, but well behaved. /i expect too much at times |

One of the best moments in television history. |

| oldfarthenry Glenford: One of the best moments in television history. And yet my animal-rights sister was APPALLED by it. I was too busy rolling on the floor in laughter to retort. |

Great moment, but that's not even the funniest episode of WKRP. |

| Mr. Coffee Nerves It took about one week working at my first real radio station to realize that WKRP was pretty much a documentary. |
||
| I_C_Weener It was like...the turkeys mounted a counter-attack. |

| I_C_Weener I_Love_Cheesecake: Great moment, but that's not even the funniest episode of WKRP. You are of course thinking of the dangers of alcohol episode where Dr. Johnny Fever's reflexes and reaction time improved with alcohol. |

You are of course thinking of the dangers of alcohol episode where Dr. Johnny Fever's reflexes and reaction time improved with alcohol. That's a great one, but my favourite is the one where they lost Most Improved Station and had that group talk in the bullpen. "Folks, there's a woman who could disarm Patton in a second." I also love the bomb/phone police two-parter. /and the one where Herb, dressed in the carp outfit, tussles with the WPIG guy in the bathroom |

| bluorangefyre I really wish they'd release the entire series on DVD uncut, but like Cold Case, all that music isn't gonna make it possible. |
||
| downstairs That episode never gets old. Thanks, subby! |

Thank you |

| AlwaysRightBoy +++++++++++++1000 Is "Les" still alive? That was such a good show. /anyway, happy Thanksgiving day |

As a former powerful member of the TV media, THIS is what happens when management gets involved in what happens in the promotions department! |

Thank you subby. |
||
| BravadoGT Even as a 10 year old, I remember thinking "Today, I think I'm more of a Bailey guy." But then next week-it was back to Jennifer! But then I was back to Bailey. Jennifer was hotter, sure--but she was intimidating. She didn't speak unless it was necessary, and then, with every syllable-she gently reminded you that not only was she beautiful--she was also the smartest person in the room. |

Somewhere, in an old shoebox, buried in a footlocker, in a forgotten self-storage unit rented by Burt Reynolds, are hundreds of polaroid fotos of Loni. |

Very classic! I went to bed last night thinking of that. Still like the Reaction time episode. / Bailey is hotter // Kind of like the young intern librarian. /// time for football |
||
| Psychopusher
I must be the odd one because I never really thought mich of Jennifer. Too much of that beautiful-and-knows-it, Parton-esque sort. Baily was demure and cute and just so much hotter because of it. That said, this was still one of the best shows on TV of its day and remains one of the best sitcoms of all time, and this episode is one of the best reasons why. /Speed kills, Del. |

Man On A Mission: I_Love_Cheesecake: that's not even the funniest episode of WKRP. [latimesblogs.latimes.com image 480x306] You lie! The funniest episode of WKRP is "A Fish Tale" - where Dr. Johnny Fever's motor skills get BETTER the more he drinks during an anti-drunk-driving campaign. Could you imagine the outrage if something that like ran today? |

||
| SpinStopper I was on the air in the late 70's - early 80's. My fellow DJ's and I viewed this show as more of a docudrama than a sitcom ;) |

read another article on a different site that listed 6 great Thanksgiving episodes and this wasn't listed. Of course the comments called the author out on it. The author in question wasn't even alive when this aired and like most of the youth today...sniff...didn't get the humor in it. Is all lost with America's future? Of course my wife is 2 years younger than me and I had to show it to her (she didn't remember it) and at first she didn't think it was that funny. /but she can cook so I keep her. |

moto-geek: Where are they now? nice info there moto. Richard Sanders, hard to believe that he has kept out of the spotlight (according to that link) but if they had checked out IMDB they would have gotten a bit more information. Looks like he is still pretty active. |

bluorangefyre: I really wish they'd release the entire series on DVD uncut, but like Cold Case, all that music isn't gonna make it possible. I bought the first season just for the Thanksgiving episode (but there's other great stuff on there). Sadly, the rest of the series will likely never see the light of day. |

Mr. Coffee Nerves: It took about one week working at my first real radio station to realize that WKRP was pretty much a documentary. And it only took about a week working for Steve Bellinger to realize it was a true story. |

jimmyjackfunk: but if they had checked out IMDB I stand corrected he was pretty active until 2006. can't find anything after that. |

yeah, I loved that show as a kid. Would be great to have a DVD set, or at least have them on Netflix... |
