what is wrong with the world today. The help being lippy , not getting prefferential treatment at restaurants and worst of all not being able to buy an election ,no matter how much money you put into dark superpacs.

First, those selfish diners wouldn't accept money to give him their table. Then the elevator guy wouldn't wait for him! What's a guy supposed to do when you have a terrible evening like this?! He would be well in his rights to shoot that elevator guy and even those diners! I think he showed how decent a human being he is by not doing what is well within his rights as a rich, and therefore, important person in this world!

Nobody, but someone who doesn't want to go to jail might dump the bullets in a trash can before the cops show up, seeing as you know, nobody though to detain him.

I wonder how many $100 bills he dropped to bribe his way out of criminal charges.

/I'd be in jail for assault with a lethal weapon if I tried that...

Not to mention no "little people" would ever get a gun permit in NYC, you can only get one if you are rich enough to afford bodyguards

/but having your bodyguard go all "thug life" on a elevator operator just doesn't stroke the ego enough

The "it was unloaded" argument is completely irrelevant. I don't know why people insist on using it.

How is the person that you are pointing it at supposed to know its unloaded? You are pointing it to threaten them. Its not a threat if they know its unloaded. You may as well point your hand in the shape of a gun at them.

The etch a sketch is gonna get shaken because there's nothing else TO do with it. Power mad wealthy people have been sh*tting where everybody eats for too long and, yeah, history has shown us that that never ends well. Let's hope the self important wealthy pull their heads out of their asses before history eats them and removes it from their collective bodies altogether.

/also serious and more than a bit concerned

And that's what people don't get about money. It doesn't make you a better person for having it. It a you does allow you to use it in a way that might MAKE you a better person, by actually using it for the only thing it's actually good for - moving around and facilitating commerce. The second you use it as a bludgeon or a slaver's whip, you blew it and you suck and traded your window seat in the gene pool for some IOUs.

"His union rep called the police and said I pulled a gun on him. I never pulled it out. I have no idea how he knew I had a gun."

You know, those two statements just don't add up.
