| Arthur Jumbles FTFA: The teenager unsurprisingly took a different view of her punishment, insisting: 'That's not love.' She added, 'It's not just embarrassing them, it's embarrassing me too.' Ummmm......dear..... that's the point! |

| BarkingUnicorn Wonder how many more boys will now be knocking on her bedroom window at 3 a.m. :-) |

They could have saved paint if they just wrote "I'm Jasmine, and I'm a smartass whore" |
||
| John Dewey Way to advertise that your daughter is a slut who puts out. |
||
| cman I doubt she'll be doing it again |
||
| Mugato So it's an advertisement. Is there a phone number on the sign? |
||
| Lionel Mandrake So I'll see you guys outside her window at 3AM...don't forget the wine coolers |
||
| Indolent I wonder how many drivers stopped to ask for her phone number? |

How much for the little girl? |

Dad looks like a real upstanding citizen and superb role model. |

I'm okay with this. The great thing about humiliation is it inspires humility. |

They could just pay for her tramp stamp and call it a day. |

jaytkay: Dad looks like a real upstanding citizen and superb role model. Better role model than a judgemental douche. |

Florida tag trumping Hero tag? Not sure I agree... What a 15-yr old whore might look like with boy father: |

nucal: They could just pay for her tramp stamp and call it a day. They already gave her a stripper name. They've done enough to advertise. |

This is what happens when you name your daughter "Jasmine". |

I would have thought that being seen in public with Step-dad would be embarrassing enough, without needing a sign. |

I wonder how they originally spelled disrespect on the sign? |

I'm sure she will learn her lesson: Next time, go to the boy's house. Or a parked car, or whatever. |

Very nice. 100% great parenting (although who knows what else if going on - step-dad looks a tad douchey, although it is Florida). My kids (17, 14 and almost 9) understand that they won't get beaten or even severely grounded, but my wife and I will take great pleasure in embarrassing them if we need to. Hell, we do it naturally - just imagine when we're trying. I explained to my now 17 year old years ago that I have no problem picking him up at school shirtless (and that's not the good kind of shirtless) if I need to. Hell, I'll wear a dress to the kids' school if need be. Only problem is they become really desensitized to embarrassment after a few rough episodes. Which should serve them well later in life, but might take the wind outta my sails before I've finished my job moving them from the self-centered savages path to the road to being a reasonable, decent human being. |

Just remember one thing kid, some people pay a lot of money for public humiliation and you get it for free. |

I feel like I've seen that guy somewhere before... |
||
| ArmanTanzarian
Guy walks into his doctors office. He Says, "Doc, my wife told me she either has Alzheimer or aids... can't remember which... what do I do?" Doc says, "Take her out deep into the woods tonight and leave her there... if she shows up at home... don't screw her." \ Tada! |

Police investigated the incident, but found no evidence that Mike and Melinda were doing anything illegal. Really? This required an investigation? |
||
| swahnhennessy
Way to go, douche-looking step-dad. Now everyone knows she puts out, and her newfound hatred for you isn't exactly going to make her chaste. Then again, you don't like the kind of guy who really thinks things through. |
||
| swahnhennessy
And I don't look like the kind of guy who can form coherent sentences. |

LarryDan43: I wonder how they originally spelled disrespect on the sign? Came in here hoping someone else noticed that. They seem like infromed and concerned citizens. |

Glendale: Police investigated the incident, but found no evidence that Mike and Melinda were doing anything illegal. Really? This required an investigation? I'm sure they just wanted to check if they were owed any permit money for the signage. |
||
| dopekitty74 Step-dad stayed home, lost 3 or 4 hundred dollars of pay. Should have gone to work and used the money for a few therapy sessions for the kid so she could maybe work out her problems instead of acting out. All this does is to make her trust her parents less. |

New thread topic: worst signs your parents made you hold at an intersection. My mom gives head at 3:00am; please form an orderly line. |

Glendale: Police investigated the incident, but found no evidence that Mike and Melinda were doing anything illegal. Really? This required an investigation? Some people view any type of strong discipline given to a child as abuse. What do you want to bet the police were fielding complaints against what the parents were doing? |

jaytkay: Dad looks like a real upstanding citizen and superb role model. [i.dailymail.co.uk image 634x525] He's being active in his daughter's life, in her raising, and works for a living so he's a better citizen and role model than a lot of other people. He's chosen a method that does her little harm, isn't abusive, and even Judges have been using again through out America and other countries. And really, people who come to this site get to judge people on their looks or choice of clothes? Glass houses and boulder sized rocks. |

Lesson 1: You might be able to make the kid GO to therapy, it's quite another to make them participate or learn from the therapist Lesson 2: Why spend good money on a therapist when the threat of massive humiliation is free? |

"Therapist" is right. She is obviously a fragile snowflake that this will crush the last remaining bit of spirit from. |

jaytkay: Dad looks like a real upstanding citizen and superb role model. [i.dailymail.co.uk image 634x525] I know dads like that with full sleeves of tats that make 6 figures in medicine or engineering. Perhaps you ought not to judge so loudly. However, in your defense, if he is a complete schmuck and she turns out a better role model for women than he does men, tell me who is really losing here? |
