| edmo "Mildly not safe for work pics/video of his flabby bum" The joys of living in the Midwest US: this was posted on a local TV stations website with the notice, "Warning - Graphic Video." |

Ways I can tell I've been playing Assassin's Creed 3 too much: That last picture immediately had me thinking he was synchronizing his map. |

Prince William is the Duke of Cambridge. So naturally, I assumed that this article would be very different. Very different. |

"He was believed to have been clothed when he climbed on to the statue." Check around the plinth. The pants can't have got far. |

Well, considering there arent any British women worth climbing on top of whilst nude, what do you expect? A man's got to do something, people. |

DrunkenInsomniac: Impressed with his climbing and balancing ability No kidding. That looks kind of dangerous. Especially while naked. |

He looks like he's about to take a dump in the second pic. |

| Nexxi From the article: "He was coaxed down and put into the back of a police van." In the U.S. he would have been tased, pepper sprayed, beaten into submission and then forced to register as a sex offender because he exposed himself to a busload of students. |

This is why I moved from the US to the UK. He'll get a GBP 50 fine and will make it back with the drinks he won't have to buy tonight at his local. And yet, even on fark, somehow we are told that Britain is the "nanny state." |

That was the most informative video ever. |
||
| raptusregaliter The old duke might have been slightly amused, but his cousin, Queen Victoria, would not have been amused at all. //knew it couldn't be that modern day lazy sod William because he's done nothing to deserve a statue /not that George really did either - they practically had to dynamite him from his position in the War Office //George would have been a great Regency duke (like his father) with his attitudes |

Bomb Head Mohammed: And yet, even on fark, somehow we are told that Britain is the "nanny state." I think it has something to do with this. |

And yet, even on fark, somehow we are told that Britain is the "nanny state." It is a Nanny state. FTA: "Police closed 100 metres of road outside Whitehall - where a number of government departments are situated - to keep the public away from the potentially dangerous man on the Duke of Cambridge statue as several ambulances and police cars gathered for about three hours, Sky News reported." That's the thing. Sure the sentence might be light, but it is the needless precaution taken in every instance. Combine this with 'scandals' erupting from people using 'racist' language on a pitch and the UK just looks terrified of offending anyone, terrified of anyone learning through experience. Like a big nanny overseeing everything. |
