| Ennuipoet That made this Atheist laugh. Yes, it's not particularly original but the artwork is well done and it beats burning at the stake. |

| dugitman Ok, that's pretty damn funny. /apatheist |

I kinda like it! |
||
| Barfmaker I honestly wasn't sure it was defaced until I read the article...I kinda like it that way, it's cheekier. |

| BronyMedic
Says a lot more about the people who did it than Atheists. |
||
| FirstNationalBastard See? The Atheist was polite enough to already have the goatee. |

I personally enjoy my horns. It's great for keeping hats squarely on my head, and I can decorate them for all kinds of seasonal holidays. At Christmas, I enjoy tying sleigh bells to them, and for the 4th of July, I tape sparklers up there! Very jaunty. |
||
| DarkJohnson come on - this one was ASKING for it - as an Atheist I would have found it hard to resist. |

Ah Christians. Politely disagree? Simply ignore it? Acknowledge that others have different ideas than your own? Nope, turn someone into Satan. It's the Christian way. |

| Benevolent Misanthrope GAT_00: Ah Christians. Politely disagree? Simply ignore it? Acknowledge that others have different ideas than your own? Nope, turn someone into Satan. It's the Christian way. Now, now... not ALL Christians did that. It's an isolated incident! Just like all the others. How dare you imply that a religion that says "No man may be saved except through me" would teach that its way is the only right way. Shame on you! |

I honestly doubt this was a Christian, it's a little to subtle for their taste. File a lawsuit, burn down the billboard, shoot a doctor on the steps of his house is more Christian. Plus, the horns are close to symmetrical and in proportion to the head...that implies art or math skill, and no home schooled Fundie possesses those. |

Please keep the funny billboards coming. I have a flood of laugh tears that I desperately needed today. |

Id be willing to bet an atheist is actually the one who painted the horns. Its too funny for a conservative to think of and actually execute. |

It's Freedom OF Religion, not Freedom FROM Religion. Oh ok. But atheism is a religion right? So we're cool. |

Atheism is a Religion. |

How does this organization not yet see the irony of being anti religion at the same time advertising `atheism' ? I don't believe in religion either but I don't go around like a white knight trying to save people from their beliefs which I really have no right to tell them what to or what not to believe in the first place. I tend to keep it to myself 99% of the time because you know, they are my beliefs. |

Hardcore atheists are every bit as bad as hardcore religious zealots. |

Why did they choose a picture of some douche? Why not a picture of a baby? It's true, powerful, and only an asshole would graffiti it. |

I don't believe in religion either but I don't go around like a white knight trying to save people from their beliefs which I really have no right to tell them what to or what not to believe in the first place. You may not like it, but it's hardly "ironic". Atheists are roughly as well respected and trusted as rapists in the US. FFRF is trying (badly, in my opinion) to advertise atheism as something normal. I don't really think a picture of some grinning douche on a billboard is going to cut it, but that's the obvious intent. What's ironic about it? And there's a difference between going around "like a white knight trying to save people from their beliefs" and simply trying to be considered a full-fledged member of a society with a hypothetical separation of Church and State. There are a handful of state constitutions that still require religious faith to hold office. This country is downright third-world with respect to the way it treats atheists and others who do not conform to Christian ideals (e.g. gays). "Just shut up and conform to your status as a second-class citizen" isn't a solution. |

| FloydA Mystery Vortex: Hardcore atheists are every bit as bad as hardcore religious zealots. Yeah, they're always going around murdering doctors who perform appendectomies. I hate the way they show up at my door early in the morning and hand me a blank piece of paper, and tell me that if I don't read it, nothing bad is going to happen. The ones standing on the street corner and not saying anything are the most annoying. What's awful is that atheists have been fighting the agnostics in the Middle East for so long that we've come to accept it as "normal" and not at all crazy, stupid behavior based on bizarre fantasies. |

I am always so impressed with how moral christians act. It is almost as if they have something guiding them. This guy was clearly a militant atheist as he dared to let his picture be put up. Luckily the good christians dealt with it. |

past the good ole boys and the dallas pearls past the billboards for and for dancin girls... Definite improvement and even helps the message, they should do this with the rest of their billboards. Dude without horns looks like his face should be on a Goodwill truck, though. |
