Not to inject a serious comment on the subject, but I think that decriminalization of marijuana can only be helped by taking a serious look at it from a multi-disciplinary standpoint. I'm glad they are forging a path here and I hope other universities join them.

Granted, no one still opposed to decriminalizing marijuana is going to respect Humboldt State anyway... but you were never going to change their minds to begin with.

I'm on a random testing program at work, and one of the things that really grinds my gears is the fact that on friday night, I could do all the coke and acid I want (that is, none) and show up clean the next week, but I can't smoke a doob because it will be in my system for a month. Ok, so my only Humboldt CSB...

I went to the zoo with my brother and his family, and borrowed his jacket, as it was a biatchill. I'm walking along when a total stranger walks up and asks, "so, did you go to Humboldt?" I was confused, and it apparently showed, because the guy starts looking like he regretted asking.

Then I realize what's up, and I say, "It's written on my back, isn't it?" at which point the guy figures I must have spent grad school there, too, and he says, slowly, "Yeah."

I explained it wasn't my jacket, we had a laugh about my seemingly stoned reaction to a simple question, and went our merry ways.
