the mental health ward is a locked area. you can't freely walk about the whole hospital, just the ward. many places, the bedrooms have no doors. there are multiple beds per bedroom, who knows who they are, you're in there with strangers. lots of rooms with no doors: kitchen, meeting spot, etcetera. there will be adults of both sex young and old. one time i was spending time in Morristown i felt so bad for this young girl. evidently she pissed off her parents so they had her taken away. brought her in in the middle of the night. she was a sweet young peach and man there was not well guys eyeing her like a candy bar. felony just waiting to happen. i think her parents had no clue what predicament that girl was in. as for walking around, most residents can barely shuffle their feet. they keep folks really sedated in-house, big time.
