When asked why they didn't report this from the onset of the situation Bangladesh authorities replied that is was; "because I feel disgrace because you're all in my face." |

mbillips: I'm guessing this is some sort of obscure pop music reference? The Beastie Boys and the song Sabotage aren't obscure. |

I remember watching 20/20 a few years back or a show like it. They interviewed a woman who worked there. She supported her mother or mother in law and a child. She worked 12+ hours a day 7 days a week making clothes for Kohl's and took work home with her to make the ever increasing quota but wasn't paid for the work. She did not have equipment at home so she hand sewed some of the clothing. The news crew was kind enough to send her to either New York or LA to show her where the clothing she worked on at a Kohl's store. She could not believe the size of the store and the prices people paid for the clothes and yet she lived in squalor. I hope she wasn't one of those in the fire. |

It took the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire to change working conditions in the US. If the arsonist manages to improve working conditions for many at the expense of a few, good for him. |

No disrespect, I understand their charms, I just don't pay any attention to them. /I likes the jazz, and the punk, and the girl sangers. |

OK, I'm ignert and senescent, but not completely dim. Sabotage? |

My dad is 63 years old. Listens to classic rock, oldies, folk music and classic country like Marty Robbins. He knows Sabotage by the Beastie Boys. In fact, it's his ringtone. I don't know how anyone can NOT know that song, whether they're fans of rap music or not. |
