There were valid concerns that were brought up in the threads and you people shot them down and labeled them as trolls on the basis that they didn't fall in line and talk about how awesome you guys are.

You guys treated Fark as your own person charity army and couldn't stand up to any criticism without crying to RichieLaw. The idea was recklessly irresponsible with donation money, the charity aspect was a ham-handed after thought, and the PR was atrocious.

Crowdfunding sites like IndieGoGo take a % of what you raised when your fundraiser is over -- that's how their business model works. If you didn't hit the goal that you set for yourself, they take a little bit higher % than they would have if you had hit it.
