| The Stealth Hippopotamus Cythraul: Is the UK the place where Russian political refugees go to die, or something? The UK is a Russian version of Florida. And this case it very strange in two ways: 1) He made it 3 fricking years! 2) He died quickly with little to no pain. |

Oh crap, not again. Russians just don't seem to have any idea how a civilised country does things, I don't know why they don't apply to join Africa as they're sure as hell not going to ever fit in in Europe. This time however it seems to be organised crime and not a shamelessly blatant murder by the farkwits in the Kremlin like with Litvinienko. JungleBoogie: To be fair, the KGB is pretty epic at rigging up strange, fatal circumstances. But shiate at any other way to run the country that doesn't involve murder, intimidation and general ineptitude. |

| findthefish Derek: Well, uh, it's not a very pleasant story..but, uh, David: He's passed on. Derek: He died. Uh...he choked on..the ac- the official explanation was he choked on vomit. Nigel: It was actually, was actually someone else's vomit. Derek: You know they can't prove whose vomit it was...they don't have the facilities at Scotland Yard.... Mostly due to serious its either me or you issues. It's truly scary (though not surprising) what decades of fear can produce in a community. |

Mind you I avoid NK news stories generally, mostly because even though I tend to come to fark, I do not really really want to be reading the absolute bottom of the barrel (else I might use a barrel for something else.) |

Apparently he had an army minister executed, not a general, but check out the story. He had him executed by forcing him to stand in a spot that had been zero'd in for a mortar. That's just flat-out something a supervillain or the jackal does. Link @ the telegraph.co.uk |
