| brap You know, before my back was broken, I had no use for these quad bikes. While you're at it, could you hook a brother up and make toast out of me so I can use this stolen panini press? |

When I steal someone's stuff, I always make sure to negotiate a mutually beneficial financial agreement to acquire such goods before I come into the person's home. What are these thieves thinking? |

So the thief isn't facing charges, but the victim is? What's next, jailing women for fighting off rapists? |

Good question. When cops can prevent people from stealing my shiat, i'll stop putting the value of a thiefs life over a persons property. We have to much shiat to deal with in this world to put any value in someones life who is only making the world a worse place |

I lived there for 4 years and heard news stories like this. To this day I still am dismayed by the UK law enforcement laws. It seems that the UK encourages property crime with judgements like this. I'm glad I live in a castle law area. //Nothing like the sound of a 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun chambering a magnum round.....no bats required..... |

Headline is even funnier right above the story about the guy using karate on a home invasion. That got the hero tag. |

BoxOfBees: So the thief isn't facing charges, but the victim is? What's next, jailing women for fighting off rapists? If you are gonna go at them... kill them and do it fast. Avoids the nasty lawsuit afterwards. People in south america picked up on that one fast. When they had people starting to throw themselves in front of cars to get lawsuits they began backing their cars over the victims. |

I'm glad I live in a castle law area. You know where "castle law" or "castle doctrine" comes from, right? "An Englishman's home is his castle." |

Mr Constantine told the court how Wilkinson had been pushed to the ground by one of the three men he discovered trying to steal two quad bikes from his compound. He said: 'You entered a yard where you work to find three men in the process of burgling your premises, that was a very traumatic experience for you as evidenced by the psychiatric report. 'It does seem that the other man involved was the one using the baton and was most likely to have caused the most extensive injuries. 'Having said that it was a joint enterprise and you must accept responsibility for your part in it.' So, they broke in. Physically assaulted him. He fought back while his buddy may have went a little overboard. And he gets 4 years? They didn't go out looking for these guys afterwards or anything. If you are on somebody else's property illegally and pushing them around, you deserve to get your ass beat. You picked a fight and you lost. |

This is why petty crime is rampant in the UK and Ireland. It's a great place to be a crook. |

I have no problem with the guy defending himself/his property, up until the point where he tries to say he discovered the guy with a broken back. |

Except for a nice MLT: a mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. They're so perky, I love that. Except that's not what he said: he distinctly said "To Blave," which we all know means "to bluff." So you're probably playing cards, and he cheated! |

BoxOfBees: So the thief isn't facing charges, but the victim is? What's next, jailing women for fighting off rapists? Some guy got 3 months in jail for making offensive comments on Facebook! Some other dude was arrested because he sang Kungfu Fighting in a karaoke club and some asian woman and son filed a complaint with the police, saying that they were offended! (Not sure of the sentence after he turned himself in.) Great (*snerk*) Britain is fast becoming the most pathetic nanny state in existence. |

diaphoresis: sgnilward: Should have just beat the f*ck to death. World would have been better for it. Always kill.. that way the victim doesn't get to tell their side of the story Yes, your honor. I shouted, "Stop or I'll call a bobby who will say, "Stop or I shall say stop, again."" I must have startled the three criminals because the one guy fell over backwards and broke his back and neck on my grass and the other guy screamed and stabbed himself in the throat with my rake, which he was holding for some unknown reason. The third criminal fell on his knife 7 times, then flopped over and fell on it another two times. I was truly shocked at this horrific, tragic accident. |

I heard this once. Question : Do you really think it's worth taking a man's (thief ) life a over a TV set ? Answer: I think that up to the thief decide. The thief has some responsibility here too. |
