| MadSkillz Best headline ever. |

| Slaxl
| violentsalvation That's a good f*cking headline. |
| themindiswatching So I've been wondering...are the cops in Belize really as corrupt as McAfee claims? Or is this some elaborate setup for an eventual insanity plea? |
| log_jammin He doesn't have anything to worry about. The trial will freeze as soon as it starts. |
| Infobahn Headline full of win! |

Nicely done, subby. *golfclap* |
| Radioactive Ass
Good headline... but a newsflash? Am I missing something here? |
| HaywoodJablonski
LOLOLOL. Lets hope Warden Norton quarantines this virus properly |
| Crudbucket
Radioactive Ass: Good headline... but a newsflash? Am I missing something here? His escapades down in Central America has been the media's "stranger than fiction" story to latch on to for the last few weeks. |
| Hector Remarkable
Radioactive Ass: Good headline... but a newsflash? Am I missing something here? Perhaps it's to alert us that he may wear funky hair to trial, like Phil Spector. |

Sentenced to death by blue screen. |

Has anyone mentioned what a fantastic headline this was yet? |
| fredbox
Well, the headline certainly clears up any confusion as to whether or not he was arrested by a girl scout troop or a pack of mimes. |

| You are Borg
Win! |

I see what you did there subby. +1 internet for you. |

| ScaryBottles
Admit it subby you've been sitting that one for a while |
| dready zim
I thought the headline was some form of misdirection but then read in TFA that it actually is the mcafee who makes the virus checker software who is wanted for murder in south america! Truth stranger than fiction indeed. |
| Demetrius Nicely done. |
| Uchiha_Cycliste headline win. |

Its quite hilarious when you think of the paralells between him being present in Belize and being present on your computer. At first, he's welcome and seems to be innocently being a welcomed addition. Things start getting weird and not making sense, he begins to cause big disruptions, but always seems to have an excuse. Next thing you know, other systems and people are totally pissed and someone turns up dead. You want him out of your country, but you cant find him. You keep seeing signs of him, but the amount of time you are spending looking for him is costing a fortune. You wish hed never shown up and just want your old way of life back. He tries to go next door to Guatemala, but they've already learned they want none of it. Now just think of him in terms of his crappy software, Belize and Guatemala both computers and you will see history repeats itself. I wonder how this cycle will play out in Belizean prisons. Maybe theyll just delete the file and all remants. |
| StrikitRich Seems Guatemalan administrators are upset over John Mcafee breaking the firewall at their border. |
| sidcart42
Guys, I was hoping one of you had already been 'that guy.' This joke has been in every comments section on that guy's story since he was FIRST 'arrested.' If subby's honest, these earnest kudos burn in his gut. Not that I'm 'that guy'..... |
| smadge1
People have been waiting for weeks to use this headline, it's not new or unique... |
| ingineervt
"arrested...for illegally entering the country?" Um...yeah...take that Americans. Have a taste of your own medicine! Without looking it up, can anyone name an export (aside from coffee, drugs, and sex-slaves) that Guatemala gives us? Honey? Leaves? Beads...maybe they make beads there. /I will buy some beads, dip them in honey in honor or G-ma. If I'm lucky, a bear will not attack nor will they slide in my anus //exhaustion post over |

Bravo Subby, and Poe as well. Neigh saying SJP threads and jaw dropping Ebert threads just won't shine in the future compared to this brilliance. |

Nice headline, subby - it isn't often that fruit hangs so low that it actually touches the ground, but this is certainly one of those moments. |
| corq Meh: Link "If you're worried that McAfee might drop out of public sight now that he's been captured, don't be. He's already jailblogging and plans to go ahead with the press conference." Wired, who's been publishing his "dispatches" even sounds like their a tad tired of his mediawh*ring. But Whatevs. |
| Alphax
Huh, I must have missed any earlier stories on the topic. |

| Bathysphere
Did one of his ten girlfriends help rat him out? DRTFA |
| mekkab
Bathysphere: Did one of his ten girlfriends help rat him out? DRTFA nope. Some lame-o reporter from Vice magazine didn't wipe their EXIF data from a photo upload. It's really easy to find someone WHEN YOU GIVE AWAY THEIR GPS COORDINATES. /Pro Tip; If you're on the run, STOP BEING AN ATTENTION WHORE. |

| Whole Wheat
So, how's that whole "I am teh ex-pat" thing working out for you. Enjoy Belizean prison! |

| Abe Vigoda's Ghost ingineervt: "arrested...for illegally entering the country?" Um...yeah...take that Americans. Have a taste of your own medicine! You think the US is the only country that has immigration laws? How cute. |

Belize is finding him difficult to uninstall. |

| bob_ross Avast majority loving the headline I see... Comodo, it isn't THAT good. /bravo +1 Subby |
| sexorcisst
Now that he is in prison, he is actually going to want some trojans. |
| ThisSideofSteinway
sexorcisst: Now that he is in prison, he is actually going to want some trojans. Yeah, if he's not careful, he may end up with ClamXavidia. |
| Deacon Blue themindiswatching: So I've been wondering...are the cops in Belize really as corrupt as McAfee claims? Or is this some elaborate setup for an eventual insanity plea? They're pretty farking corrupt. They aren't really cops like you think of cops. |
| skinink
What an idiot. First he retires to a country who has a reputation as a corrupt country (surprisingly there's no data on them on The Corruption Perceptions Index). Then he gets into some issues with the Belize police. Then he gets involved with a murder. He flees but regularly keeps in touch with the press while he's on the lam. Then he has some bloggers or whatever take a picture with their smartphone, and the picture's EXIF data reveals his locations. For a rich dude he's a complete idiot. Why couldn't he just retire to Europe? He could have gone to any country there and had hookers for life if sex was a big consideration of where to go. And he wouldn't have had to worry about corruption so much. |
