Back in the 1980's I saw a NASA film about a proposed helicopter with ejection seats that used explosive charges to eject the blades .Anyone know if they ever tried that thing out?

I think I would have used stronger language.

I have been on many Cessna and other rides. The scariest I have seen was another Cessna passing below our plane at about 30 yards or so. That is just an estimate but I could see the pilot clearly. I know part of my job as a passenger is to keep an eye out for such but it happened so fast I could only inform him after the fact. I had my camera in hand shooting the landscape but that one happened real fast and I missed it.
