fta: He was booked into jail for child abuse/neglect, carrying a firearm into a place where alcohol is sold, failure to inform police he was carrying a weapon, possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol and public intoxication. ![]() So much fail. |

Broken Arrow Man Arrested Oh man, what's Travolta gotten into this time? |

"The children are now under the supervision of their mother." Somehow I don't find that reassuring considering her evident history of piss-poor decisions. |
||
| loveblondieo I was expecting a better mugshot to go along with that amount of fail. |

Did they ever find who put the kids in the car, and why? |

| L.D. Ablo If it's wrong to commit child abuse/neglect, carry a firearm into a place where alcohol is sold, fail to inform police you are carrying a weapon, and possess a firearm while under the influence of alcohol and public intoxication, I don't want to be right. |

The children are now under the supervision of their mother. If she wants to divorce him and get full custody of the kids, this is a brilliant move. If she set him up by putting the kids in his car, there's very little chance of getting credible confirmation from a 2 year old. A move like this would pretty much destroy him. He'll lose his right to own guns and vote, probably get him fired, have to pay spousal and child support. Well played. |

Yeah, sorry, nobody is that crafty. "I know, I'll wait till my husband has gone out, gotten drunk, with his gun, while he's supposed to be watching our kids, and then slip them into the back seat while nobody is watching in a busy parking lot. Then I'll have an airtight case for divorce and full custody." If the guy is such an upstanding citizen that she'd have to resort to such tactics--he wouldn't have been drunk in a bar in the first place. |

He had a pistol. He shoulda used it when them pigs started hasselin' him for no good reason (somethin' about a couple brats, that was none of their business anyway). |

Gyrfalcon: Yeah, sorry, nobody is that crafty. You apparently have never met any women before. Occam's razor can go either way here: Men are typically stupid louts, women are typically crafty biatches. If the guy is such an upstanding citizen that she'd have to resort to such tactics--he wouldn't have been drunk in a bar in the first place. Isn't that kinda the point of bars? |

"Look you can ask anybody Officer, I had those kids tethered --SECURELY I might add -- to the fire hydrant I parked in front of. SOMEBODY -- probably that whore mother of theirs' -- obviously put them BACK in the car to frame me! Where's my damn Scotch and soda?!?" |

"The children are now under the supervision of their mother." Police are on the lookout for a hooded African American male of medium height and build. Primarily just any African American male though. |

Balls... I used the wrong quote. Fark me. Should have been this: According to an arrest report, Jason Daniel Murray, 31, denied leaving his children in the car and claimed "someone else must have put the kids in the car while he was inside." |

| 2xhelix I blame the state. If little kids were allowed to legally drink, this never would have happened. |

I could actually see this one happening. Picture it - wife trying to divorce him, wants to make sure she gets custody. So she locks the kids in the car, starts it, and then calls in a tip. Stranger things have happened. |

Glad the kids are okay and the moron is in jail. Now, I'd like to speak to the highly trained and skilled officers who had this guy for THIRTY MINUTES AND NEVER FOUND THE WEAPON TUCKED IN HIS WAISTBAND.... |

2xhelix: I blame the state. If little kids were allowed to legally drink, this never would have happened. Even better, if not for those pesky child labor laws they could have been at work making Nikes with their clever little fingers, earning beer money for Dad. Dammed liberals. |

I was at a bar on Friday night around 8pm and saw a couple with a 5-year-old with them. The 5-year-old was mostly sitting in the booth playing games on the phone. Parents were playing pool. A friend told me they'd been there since 530pm. Parents were steadily drinking beers and a couple of Jagerbombs every 30 minutes or so. Parents would leave their kid in the bar alone while they went outside to smoke for 5 minutes or longer. It was getting near 10 o'clock at night and the parents were very intoxicated and I asked the bartender if it was common for 5 year old children to be out with their drunk parents at the bar. He finally kicked them out. I'm pretty sure they even drove their kid home, but I didn't go check. They probably drive him around drunk every night of the week. What are this kids chances at making it out of trailer park when he grows up? |
