The point is, Hallmark never produced the card. They acquired the company that did produce it a few years after that company stopped producing the card in question.

So, to review, the card is sexist, it is also in pretty poor taste in general, however, it is in no way Hallmark's fault.

I thought I'd share my girlfriend's reaction:

No, because putting this all on hallmark is like my neighbors blaming me for crap the previous homeowners did. I realize the subtle difference in that some of those same employees may be around. Halmark made it clear that this wasn't ok and never did fit their standard. End of story.
