| BunkoSquad Holy crap, submitter, is that a "Mad Movies with the LA Connection" reference? I didn't think there were 10 people on the planet who remembered that show and I'm related to four of them. |

Just some BDSM convention got a little out of hand. Nothing to see here. Move along. |

Did Ric Romero write this article? FTFA: Police are awaiting a medical examiner's report to determine what caused the trauma on the male victim. Esparza said it could have been a gunshot wound or trauma caused by blunt force. "No one saw or heard anything," Esparza said, adding that investigators are still trying to determine if the two victims had been attacked elsewhere and dumped on Brussels Street. |

Mad Movies----I still fondly remember the begining of the Night of The Living Dead when the first zombie is staggering through the cemetary and the line they dubbed over was "telegram, telegram, telegram" |

| BunkoSquad dr.zaeus: I still have several of those on an old VHS taped from TV... m- m- m- MAD MOVIES!!! A few years ago, my brother game me "DVDs" of them...turns out some guy just had the same deal as you, VHS copies, but transferred them to DVDs with VHS quality. No big deal, they're watchable and bring back lots of great memories. /Santa Fe Trail FTW //"I was going to start with 'four score and seven years ago', but a funny thing happened to me on the way to Gettysburg" |

FTFA: Esparza said the neighborhood the two were found in is "pretty quiet." Maybe now, but when I was growing up in the city, Bayview/Hunters Point was on my 'no-fly' list. /Are the Double Rock Projects still around? I know Filmo' is gentrified - no more Pink Palace. |

FTA: "It's just your typical working-class neighborhood," he said... |

Double Rock is definitely still around, and apparently still a traffic jam on weekend nights with people buying crack. /work on the Shipyard |
||
| natas6.0 if someone dies on a frisco street, bound and gagged.. does anyone give a shiat? nope! Luckily for the killer, they rarely solve murder cases there and hey, maybe it's a lifestyle thing (I miss the citadel) |

| xdedd
That area of the city is terrible. |

Peace, love, rope. |

Fark every news team in SF that can't get the farking neighborhood right on this one. They've been calling it Bayview and Visitacion. Welcome to the Portola, people. If this neighborhood's too dangerous for you please do us all a favor and move to the peninsula. Or better yet, spend a bunch of money to live in a hip but really dangerous place like the Mission and become an easy target/martyr. /born and raised //love that people don't realize that SF natives are, on average, hella ghetto. |
||
| Wasilla Hillbilly
Damnit....people still say 'hella' |
||
| Crewmannumber6 Wasilla Hillbilly: Damnit....people still say 'hella' I listened to the Nerdist podcast with Colin Hanks and they spent 30 discussing that phrase. That pretty much cured me of listening to The Nerdist. |
||
| Jon H We need to outlaw bounds and gags. / or not |

That area is right between Bayview and the Sunnydale-area housing projects, so while it itself may be quiet, it's a convenient thoroughfare between shooty and stabby. Not a terribly surprising place to find a body, in my opinion. |

| imgod2u This is why I use a safe-tune instead of a safe-word. |
