| olddeegee He hosted a show called "Ghost Hunter", so both his credibility and his career are dead already. What else is there to do? |
||

This is the guy who coined the "DUDE! RUN!" catchphrase. Glad to see he's getting the help that it looks like he needs. Unfortunately, I could have seen GH milking his, ah, departure in the same manner as Grant's Cher-like Farewell Tour. /this thread needs pics of Kris Williams' ass |
||
| scottydoesntknow I'm trying to find the ghost of who cares, but I'm not having much luck. Anyone got an EMF detector? |

Oh. This guy. He's never had his sh*t together and his family should get him some help. |
||
| Walker He was always the f*ckup on the team. Doesn't surprise me. |

| jaylectricity OMG, I felt a warm, wet sensation running down my leg. I'm glad he's ok now. |

| TheBeastOfYuccaFlats ToxicMunkee: Oh. This guy. He's never had his sh*t together and his family should get him some help. Yeah, this guy was always a fark-up. He hasn't been on the show in years. Hell, he left the show before I stopped watching it, which was a pretty long damn time ago. |
||
| ZeroCorpse Anybody associated with these B.S. scam shows should feel bad. I don't condone suicide, but he should definitely feel bad. |

The real ghost apparently were the demons in his head. |

I was actually wondering what ever happened to this guy the other day while watching Ghost Hunters. Didn't he leave because his wife was pregnant or something? |
||
| darth_badger
So he's still making stuff up? |

A long time ago (4th season?) they posted information about the cast members personal lives on the Ghost Hunter community forums. All of those cast members need some serious therapy. They can't blame success on their problems because they were apparently screwed up prior to the show as well. |

I just saw shadow! That was definitely a shadow. Jay confirmed it. |

Zombie Eater: ///show got old quick this ////Still better than Ghost Douches...er, Adventures and that. But, yeah, Ghost Hunters was must-see for my wife and I, but we lost interest after a few seasons. A whole lot of nuthin most of the time, and the payoffs got less and less interesting. |

Who's he gonna call? |

ZeroCorpse: Anybody associated with these B.S. scam shows should feel bad. Somewhere out there is someone who not only watched, but owns the DVDs of this show. Probably knows every episode by heart. I can't imagine how anyone can sit through more than one episode of these 'tards running around yelling "What was that!?" |

that guy was always nuts. Even for a professional ghost hunter |

I think it just got worse. I remember it being a very entertaining show - lots of spooky atmosphere stuff. |

Well, that is one way to find out if ghosts are real, I suppose. |

I think the article said everything when they introduced him as an actor. These "real" ghost stories and "investigations" are nothing more poorly done dinner theater. |

LAME. Look if you do this (ghost hunting "professionally") and it's not as a joke or for kicks you have issues. If you have issues and you lose the attention you were getting you do things to draw attention. There are plenty of people in the world who do something of value. Just cut away or hang yourself you attention whore douche. /psst there are no ghosts. |

But, yeah, Ghost Hunters was must-see for my wife and I, but we lost interest after a few seasons. A whole lot of nuthin most of the time, and the payoffs got less and less interesting. Same here. We watched religiously for the first two or three years, then exactly like you said. They started never finding anything interesting. Which made me wonder if some of the stuff in the first few seasons were staged, because everything after that has been lame as hell. We quit watching totally. I'd watch again if they had anything worth seeing. And I think Kris is yummy. |

The Warwick, Rhode Island police department who allegedly oversaw the investigation declined to comment on the matter. ![]() On the case. |

EngineerAtWork: I think the article said everything when they introduced him as an actor. These "real" ghost stories and "investigations" are nothing more poorly done dinner theater. What's worse is that the popularity of the show served as validation for similar shows, further degrading the already poor quality of cable programming. He wasn't just a participant, he was a friggin' agent provocateur. I hope his mental treatment involves making him a useful member of society again. |

Fear the Clam: ZeroCorpse: Anybody associated with these B.S. scam shows should feel bad. Somewhere out there is someone who not only watched, but owns the DVDs of this show. Probably knows every episode by heart. I can't imagine how anyone can sit through more than one episode of these 'tards running around yelling "What was that!?" On the GH forums, they originally had a large community who tried to debunk for at least 3 seasons. The GH forum admins decided that was anti-GH and explicitly warned the forum members not to debunk the show and Sci-Fi sent lawyer letters to fan sites not to use any material from the show in any way. So many people continued to post to debunk items shown in the show that the show began to increase the background music so that when show members "heard" things, the viewers could not make out what was heard and had to take Jay's, etc., word on it. They changed camera angles so you could not initially see the "shadows" that the show members saw. Sy-Fy actually skewed the show's viewership age numbers for the show after that and only teens were left to watch the show. SyFy was happy because that the audience they were looking for at the time. I guess adults think too much. //There were a lot of people trying to sell their DVDs in forums, but few had anyone interested enough. |

Ghost Hunters: The Gayest ****ing Show on Television!! |

| Balchinian
Yes, he is mentally unstable, even by his home state's standards (MI). Yes, he is an actor. And yes, assuming he gets back on his meds, he will play this out for all the publicity he can possibly get. As far as I am concerned, this show is nothing more than blatant exploitation of the mentally ill. |

My sister watches the shows, and pays good money to go to regional meets where second string cast members "check out" a local haunted place. I'm a good brother and nod my head at the various "mysterious" things that happen. Only thing that's happening is people are being fleeced. |

Random thought: It always bugged me that when they were hunting ghosts, the camera was always focused on them. Then, when they claimed to see a ghost, the camera would whip around and be a split second too late to see anything. Weird. |

I never understood the logic of using actual "cameramen" if you're going to produce a ghost hunting show. That means in every scene, you at least have +1 persons to account for that you cannot see (as the viewer), and thus can't, objectively, discern that "weird footstep sound over here" or "strange knock over there" is anything unexplained at all compared to "clutz camera guy taking a false step". |
||

Well if it's a call for help, then who you gonna call? |
||
| lordjupiter
I always assumed this guy was on coke or speed or something, and that was his problem. Anyone have any idea what his issues were? |
