That article read like it was written by a high school English student who isn't doing very well in class.

Well, I personally think she should be able to write whatever she wants, but if she had written a novel about banging underage students in her class, I could see how that would rile people up. What I meant was that it didn't sound like a big deal to me in the first place because she clearly wasn't writing about anything controversial.

Everyone I talk to seems to have some arbitrary b.s. limit for what teachers are allowed to do in their free time. This lady just wrote a book, so that's okay. But if she were in a porno? Not okay. Unless it was a long time ago. Working as a stripper? Obviously that's not acceptable, right? Article is farked on my end. Did it say she was fired? According to a Cleveland reporter I heard interviewed today, she still has her job and should have nothing to worry about. If he's correct, how is she 50 shades of screwed?

IMO, the guy arrested in the park is out irrespective of his partner's proclivities, because now he's got a criminal record and is probably on a sex offender registry (dumb but true). Everyone else is just doing what they do in their free time. It'd might get embarrassing for someone with 18 year old students to work in a strip club though.
