That is some trolltastic advertising right there. Gotta give the dry cleaner a 10/10 for creativity, and if he's willing to live with the lost business so be it.

I wonder what he does for a message if you want your shirts boxed.

Most people who buy cigarettes are buying them to smoke them. Most people don't get dry cleaning so they have perform an abortion.

/or so I'm told

So I'm curious, what other medium does the dry cleaner have to print their propaganda on? You want them to waste paper?

Meh. I wouldn't take my clothes there. I get enough people preaching politics to me in other parts of my life, I don't need it at businesses I frequent. I don't doubt though that he probably gains as much business as he loses. The US is pretty evenly split on the issue.

Are they really advocating a return to the back alley coathanger abortions?

I honestly might not notice. I just strip the dry cleaning off the wire hangers, but it on my nice wooden ones and move on.

Go to an anti abortion rally with a sign that says "only abort gay babies!", or a pro choice rally with a sign that says "support a womans right to choose to abort their gay fetus" and watch heads explode.

"Pro-abortion" is the side that supports legalized abortion (abortion rights). Similar to pro-gun supporting gun rights, etc. Pro-gay-marriage supporters don't want people to randomly get married to people of the same gender, they just want gay marriage to be legal. If you want XYZ to be legal, it isn't that absurd to call your position pro-XYZ. Pro-legalized-XYZ or pro-legal-XYZ might be a bit clearer, but really just add unnecessary length to it. Terms like "pro-life," "pro-choice," etc. obviously try to instill an emotional bias, but I really don't think "pro-abortion" is meant to do that. You're reading into it too much.

The ones I've seen hanging around outside a local clinic do. Aborted fetus pictures and bloody coathangers.
Though, they're kinda crazy anyway, maybe I'm just assuming they all act like these clowns.
