People who have waited longer than 5 or 7 minutes tend overly exaggerate their wait. Lots of times they go in there with the intention
of finding something wrong in order to get a free meal anyway. Of course Friendly's did fark up.

They get the check to see how much the bill was so they can tip accordingly, all though, I imagine there was no tip after that mayhem.

Also, you then have proof the meal was paid for, even if it was comped, so if after you leave the restaurant can't turn around and claim you walked out on the bill and they didn't comp it.

I had a similar experience with a Boston Pizza restaurant. fark those guys. I didn't even want to go there but apparently once you are older than 40 you need to start going to chain restaurants because new experiences are scary and I have some older members of the family visiting.
