A friend of mine in Kingston used to "make" UFOs in the '60s though by suspending a flaming tray of burning alcohol from a dry cleaning bag and letting it fly glowingly through the evening sky. I wonder how many of these he was responsible for.

I did, too! With straws and birthday candles in a dry cleaning bag, floated off the cliff across the bay from the Naval Shipyard. On calm summer nights, we'd occasionally get a jet response from McChord...

First of all we do have streetlights in NH. I know because I used to work running extension cords down to Mass where they have electricity and stuff.

Flying streetlights do not exist, people! They are not the least bit aerodynamic. And if you had taken the least bit of time researching this you would have found that the early designs for flying streetlights were abandoned as unfeasible by the Wright Bros.
