Wow, I was just watching George Carlin on Youtube talking about death in another browser window when I refreshed my Fark page and saw this story. |

Metalithic: Wow, I was just watching George Carlin on Youtube talking about death in another browser window when I refreshed my Fark page and saw this story. That's nothing; my house has a chimney. So, so weird. |

'The word 'special' doesn't do my brother justice.' oh, i think it does |
||
| Metalithic
Great headline, but a terrible accident. The poor guy was seriously burned and conscious for a long time while he was trapped in the chimney, definitely one of the worst ways to go. |
||

Farking asshole. I hope that his possessions are confiscated and sold off to help pay for the repairs to the chimney. |

The url says "man rescued after falling into smokestack." |
||
| Hilary T. N. Seuss
The URL reads: http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/12/13 /man-rescued-after-falling-int o-smokestack-on-mag-mile/ That made me think, "Stupid submitter. The guy was rescued... Oh, then he died. Stupid CBS." |
||
| Mock26
Also, I have seen pictures of that hospitality suite, and it is absolutely incredible! I would "die" to stay there! |
||
| Gyrfalcon This isn't what they mean when they say "smoke 'em if you got 'em..." |

Oh, then he died. Stupid CBS." So what you think they should have just left him there? He didn't die because they rescued him I am guessing that by the time they got to him after cutting a hole in the chimney that it was already too late and he maybe even lived a little longer than he normally would have. |

On the bright side, his cremation was cheap. |

Man from Pipestone dies in stone pipe. /going down a pipe head first is one of my greatest fears. I'll tell you anything. I'll give up my wife, mistress, and smart phone. Just don't put me down a pipe head first. |

FTA: "Nick's amazing talents were only topped by fierce love and loyalty to his family and friends," his brother Jamie said in an email. "Nick was truly a family man, a phenomenal friend (as literally hundreds would attest to), and would do anything to help anyone. When it came to people, Nick's as good as they come. Nick was simply amazing, always looking out very EVERYONE besides himself. People gravitated to him. Everyone loved Nick, and Nick loved everyone. The word 'special' doesn't do my brother justice." How come no one ever says the person was an asshole? I can't wait until I die, so when they talk to my friends and family, they'll get the complete opposite of the above. "Clint Torres's amazing talents were only topped by fierce hatred and rudeness to his family and friends," his brother Mike Hunt said in an email. "Clint was truly a single man, trying to get with every shorty he met, a phenomenal smelly geek (as literally hundreds would attest to), and would do anything to avoid helping anyone, especially when it came to money. When it came to people, Clint's as rotten as they come. Clint was simply grouchy, always looking out for number one...himself. People gravitated away from him. Everyone hated Clint, and Clint repulsed everyone. The word 'asshole' doesn't do my brother justice." /lulz //article typo fixed |

Geez, troll, not too bright are you? The head line to the actual article gives the impression that they guy lived. That is, after all, generally assumed when someone is "rescued." The poster you responded to was pointing that out. Do try and keep up with the rest of us, ok? |

What did the big chiminey say to the little chiminey? Your too young to smoke. |
||
| Hetfield
On the bright side, you can consider his preparations for Burning Man completed. |
||
| Nogale The saddest part of this story is that 100 firefighters and paramedics spent hours trying to get to him instead of rescuing people who were not the victims of their own idiocy. |

"When he got to the top of the chimney, Wieme thought he had stepped on a ledge, but fell down the extremely hot shaft" So he meant to fall off the ledge? I guess it would have been quicker and less painful. |
