Nice try, Subs. One 5-person zoning board in one city put a bunch of rules in place to block dispensaries.

Consalvo wants to keep cannabis clinics near hospitals.

Why stop there and risk discrimination charges? Just mandate ALL clinics and pharmacies be located near hospitals and be done with it.

/or he can pull his head out of his ass and just treat them like all other clinics and pharmacies
//only 35 for the entire state, so Boston gets what? maybe 10?
///or should I be looking at this as a Taxachusetts type thing?

Equal parts liberal, catholic, and puritan. But we're wicked smaht kid, and pretty much are #1 in everything in the country. Except not being fat, we're only #2 behind Colorado.

And we're going to beat the snot out of SF tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure you're confusing "dispensary" with "farm". Or possibly "smoke".

No. State-run liquor stores shouldn't exist in the first place.

I doubt the veracity of your statement. Drunks are belligerent. Stoners are complacent.

I say this as a non-stoner who has spent thousands of hours among stoners. You are just trying to stir up shiat. Trying to wrangle drunks is like trying to fight a beehive. Wrangling stoners is as simple as tossing a hacky sack on the ground or putting cartoons on the TV.

Does Massachusetts law allow people to smoke pot in public places? Or cars?

Yeah, stoners are "complacent" until their smoke starts coming into your house at 3:00 am when they are out by your fence getting high so their wife doesn't catch them.

The they deny, deny, deny, and keep smoking pot at strange hours causing it to come into the house and literally wake me up from sleeping. Eventually on the phone, the denials changed to "well, isn't pot legal" that's when I knew his denials were lies.

During Christmas break, his wife must have been out of town because he smoked so much that our house smelled like a party had been held in it. Its awesome to have to air out your house in the dead of winter at 3:00 am.

Repeated polite visits ended up with calls to the cops who said they can't do anything.

So keep telling me stoners are really mellow and cool. I am a very mellow drunk. I don't throw my beer cans into my neighbors yard. But this asshat stoner loved to do that.

Cars? No, at least not while under operation.

In public? Not really, buy kind of. We decriminalized it in 2010, making it less consequential than a speeding ticket. Since then, unless you're sitting in front of a school or police station in the middle of the day, the cops are going to give a sh*t.

Yeah, they tried this shiat in L.A. - the courts stopped them. Anyway, these places aren't bars. They're just dispensaries. Nothing for the haters to whine about.

Your story doesn't add up homebro. How is weed smoke coming into your house in the dead of winter when it's so cold you loathe to open your windows? I know you're not in an apartment with shared HVAC because you said your evil stoner neighbor goes out by the fence.

If the smell really bothers you that much (somehow) then might I suggest buying your evil stoner neighbor a portable vaporizer?

You sound like you've lived in New Hampshire.

Massachusetts only has "package stores" for your alcohol needs, thanks to archaic state blue laws and political corruption.

I worked security at a bar and a cannabis collective. Never broke up a fight at the collective, maybe i had to go inside and get more chips for the bbq's we held on Saturdays. Obviously broke up tons of fights at the bar. Usually drunken, self deluded men who thought some one was staring at them, trying to pick up on "their" chick, or their own pathetic attempt at trying to get laid. Collective crowd is much nicer to work with.

Well, interestingly enough, I was a sub hunter, but my reason for using yards was more prosaic; I was just too lazy to type "a mile-and-a-quarter."

I also felt that, for those that weren't aware that a mile is 1,760 yards, they would visualize the dispensary as being much closer than it actually is. "Oh, 2,000 yards? That's like right across the street, right?"

Now look at how much more I had to type . . . just because I was too lazy to type: "a mile-and-a-quarter" in the first place.

/I thought a 'torpedo' was/is a gunsel.
//Pay no attention to those Rhode Island people . . . they pronounce "sink" so it sounds like "zinc."
