I remember that thread. I was up too late for no good reason. Good news, I was on dialup and if it was obvious an image (e.g. goatse) was going to end badly I could interrupt the load.

The pickle showed up in photoshops from time to time years later. I emailed a photoshop contest link to my mother and felt I needed to warn her not to click on anything marked NSFW. Because there was a good chance a pickle lay behind.

Way before my time.

Oh well, at least I was around for the defining of rotsky and the outing of skookum.

Yeah, it was totally a reference to keeping the proles in line, and not at all a reference to people not being stupid enough to do stuff that gets them FIRED in the first place!

If you work for an anal-retentive, soul-crushing, micro-managing company with Emil the dancing clown from hell as your direct supervisor, and for whatever reason NEED to keep your job, you might want to not do things that get you in hot water.
