| CoolBeans well, OK - I mean, you've pretty much summed everything up in the headline. So...what doe we talk about now??? |

| aimtastic I actually own a Chinese knockoff hockey jersey, knew it was a cheap knockoff when I ordered it, and wasn't surprised when I received a jersey with frayed seams and a crest that's about two inches lower than it should be. The deal with these jersey is that they often get made in the same sweatshop as the legit ones, using the same equipment on an off shift, but with cheaper materials, lower paid and less experienced workers, and no quality control inspections. The lady in TFA says she went to the second search result, probably a PPC ad, probably advertising a price on the search results page that she recognized as far lower than what she'd seen anywhere else, and yet she didn't think that was fishy, just thought, "Woo hoo! Cheap jersey!" And now she's mad that she got what she paid for. |

"I went to the website and found there was no phone number, I had to email them," she said. Silvio said she's embarrassed to admit it, but she quickly learned she had ordered from a fake sports-jersey site located in China. She added anyone could have made this mistake because the Chinese site looks like an official team site, including the words "official online store."\ /Why the hell not? We don't make anything in the USA anymore, all our shiat comes from china japan, and other smaller lesser nations that pay crap wages to their workers. Look at Wal Mart, Hobby Lobby, or really any other store. Filled with cheap crap from other countries. Why not just purposefully buy it from a rip off place? You're getting screwed anyway. |

Why do we give attention to idiots like this? I understand that some people are compassionate and all, but seriously, the only way dumb people learn is to experience something like this and be told to deal with it, not giving them attention or justifying their frustration by going after the company that, admittedly, is targeting idiots. |

"It said official online store, Pittsburgh Steelers, the official logo was there," Silvio said. And I'm a french model. Dumbass. When the URL says www.chingchongcheapchinashirts.cn, it's probably not a legit NFL outlet. |

Problem #1? Ordering a Charlie Batch jersey. She's wanted one for a long time? Honey, they've been on clearance for at least 5 years. |

I had this happen to me once when I ordered an official NFL Miami Dolphins jersey with Dan Marino's name on it from Bumpkin Billy's official NFL site. Instead of Miami Dolphin's Dan Marino Jersey I got an old dirty Fat Albert T-shirt with Fat Albert's name crossed out and the name "Nose Picking Nellie" written underneath it. I knew it was fake because Fat Albert the Cosby Kids played for the Kansas City Chiefs. |

Yeah, my sister was telling me last night about a number of returns she had customers bringing in that were knock-offs. She works for an Uggs of Australia boutique and had one woman open the box and realize right away that her husband gave her knock-offs and came into the store to get the legit ones. Husband thought he was saving $30 off of $190 boots and got a cheaply made product instead that his wife recognized as fake without even touching them. Then she told me at least 3 people came in with knock-off Christmas gifts wanting exchanges without knowing they were fakes until their teen daughters pointed it out Christmas morning. |

Well, this is as good as place as any... The second most irritating thing about that "OH MY GOSH!" Fathead commercial is that even though Fathead is a licensed NFL company, the kid's dad is wearing a fake Bradshaw jersey. |

Back in the early 90's, my girlfriend asked me if I could have any gift (reasonable) in the world, what would it be. I told her 'an authentic Steeler jersey'. She actually called the team and got put through to the right people to buy one. Today, we have been married almost 12 years and the jersey has been worn for EVERY game for the last 17 seasons. Its one of the few authentic ones I've seen that is actually fitted to wear shoulder pads under it. No matter the team, its freakin' awesome. How you would consider buying an 'official' jersey from anyone other than the team's website or the NFL and even remotely think it would be authentic, is beyone me. Its reasonable to think the good ones aren't going to come cheap and if you do find one cheap, it probably is either fake or a non authentic one. |

LOL I'm assuming "accumulation" is what you get when you translate Batch from English to Chinese to Engrish. That's probably just an AP article run through a double translation. |

"I thought I was dealing with a reputable website, but I was wrong," Silvio said. "I want other Pittsburghers to know, do not use http://Nicesteelers.com, because they're a rip-off," Seems legit. Isn't that the standard URL format for all licensed NFL merch? |
