But how did they find them? The letters that is. I didn't see much on how they were found. Unless I missed something. |

If my son were an Afghan vet I'd tell him to start treating a wider variety of canines. I've heard of specialty medicine but that's ridiculous. |

When they mention 'V-mail' being photocopies. How do they mean photocopy? The photocopier wasn't invented until many years later. I wonder if they literally mean someone took a photograph of the letter, had it printed and that was what was mailed out. I'm not sure. |

It is nice that they got some of the letters back, but if they meant that much to him then he probably should not have kept them in a shed. |

Too bad, because that would be interesting to know. I mean the love story was sweet and all, but cmon, tell us about the missing trunk and letters, please. |

The sappy tag must have lost in a battle with the hero tag. Heroically sappy. |

The negatives were shipped back, the letters printed and delivered. |

These people are in their eighties. Even if they have the energy to celebrate with an in-and-out, is it medically advisable? |

orbister: These people are in their eighties. Even if they have the energy to celebrate with an in-and-out, is it medically advisable? I lived in Hemet, CA for a while. Retiree community mostly. Farking fast food joint and greasy spoon on every block. Quite common to hear an ambulance go by followed by someone saying, "Wonder if I know anyone in there." And the local Hometown Buffet, with its elderly fat people shuffling to the fried chicken and pudding, scarred me for life. |
