I can honestly say that I have this alarm clock, and it goes "off" even when I don't have to get up for work. I think we've all been there...... :D

Our cat never did the cwn routine, but she wasn't adverse to walking across your head if you didn't wake up when she wanted you to.

The fat cat story got me to get off my lazy butt and find a picture of the fat cats. This picture dates back to 1998 if not earlier, and both of these cats have long ago crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Meet Foof (up top) and Zak, the meatloaf cats. Sisters, they got up to about 17 pounds on small frames. My ex kept these two when she moved out, I got the other 3.



Foof was originally Foots because of her white socks, she was renamed Foof because she had foof for brains!

"Diets suck"

Greetings from Virginia, where we have SNOW !  1.5 inches so far.. local (and accurate) forecaster says 3-6" tonight... supposed to end early tomorrow morning... both cars covered already.. Feral Fred is in the utility room in his heated bed.. according to the footprints, he came out, looked around, and went back inside... the inside crew are occupying all the windows.. lots of vocalizations.. probably translate to many WTF,s.. I will bring them a bowl of the snow tomorrow am... should be interesting.. had a white cat named Snowball (RIP)...  liked to play cat-dozer in the stuff... would put his head down and run... looovved the snow, but loved the sun more....

Biscuit is recuperating nicely. I'll have pics tomorrow. His pupils have been so blown from the pain meds I haven't had the heart to use the flash.
He just had his dinner and meds. It's nap time now.

Sounds like you're getting more of this than we are up here in snow country (upstate NY)! I used to keep a shovel on my deck back at the old house so I could shovel a path for the beasties, they'd go hang out under it just to get out of the house. Snuffy is now our only outdoor cat, and he's decided he's too old for that sh*t. We got a foot a couple of weeks ago, he didn't go out for days!

This is Toshiro. He's really food-oriented, and while he doesn't ordinarily like people food, he likes to check to be sure it's not anything of interest. This is him sticking his paw into some shepherd's pie and sampling it.

Ha!! Lily will do the "cold nose", then the "PURRRRSSS in the face, then will get up behind me and lick my hair!! After I yell at her, and pull the covers up to cover my face, she will flop down next to me, and "huff". Too funny!

It could still come in handy. He hasn't pooped yet. I'm pretty sure the pain meds have something to do with that.
Going to check in with the vet tomorrow if we don't get any 'presents' by morning.

So glad to hear that he is recovering from his recent surgery.  You are such a good daddy for thinking about his poor eyes!  "high fives"!!! :D
