ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF GOVERNMENT DESTROYING SMALL BUSINESS |

Exactly nothing about this story adds up. They are way too ghetto to be living in a house like that to start with, and really, normal people with lots of money have a hard time adopting, and these people did it SEVEN TIMES?! And how do you run a strip club from your house? |

| daveUSMC Dadoody: ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF GOVERNMENT DESTROYING SMALL BUSINESS There is nothing small about that woman. Shudder. The pole is not supposed to be enveloped. |

| kevinboehm Dadoody: ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF GOVERNMENT DESTROYING SMALL BUSINESS No license, no business. This is the same as paying your neighbor's kid to mow your lawn, in terms of 'business' at least. In terms of psychological trauma, however... this is more in line with a war crime. |

FTFA: "The club was uncovered by investigators when a man was shot and killed in the driveway in July, Riverside County sheriff's officials said." Umm... holy fark. |

I would have thought they'd go with violating zoning rules instead. |

I would hate to see what the strippers looked like. Probably 350 pounds of pure hard loving. The lap dances must have been a real beech. |

I don't understand this preoccupation with protecting children from things that don't hurt the children, don't hurt anyone else, and is a natural part of human development. |

Surprised the cops didn't find meth too. It is Perris (that's the cool spelling, not Paris like everybody thinks) after all. |

They are way too ghetto to be living in a house like that to start with, and really, normal people with lots of money have a hard time adopting, and these people did it SEVEN TIMES?! And how do you run a strip club from your house? It's hard to adopt "normal" children. Quite probably kids nobody else wanted. "Undesirable" enough, and the government will actually pay you to take care of them. It's still cheaper than institutionalizing them. Not sure of the the amounts for adopted children, but knew of some people that had a bunch of "special needs" foster kids. Normally they get $700 cash & foodstamps, disabled kids were $1800 (20 years ago, probably more now). Any "normal" kids they got were quickly "diagnosed" with some disorder or other. Get a 1/2 dozen or so, feed them cheaply & clothe them from thrift stores, they could afford a pretty nice house... As for the Strip Club, in my 20s, I had a house where we had 185 consecutive keggers. Paid for my alcohol, the rent, the utilities & some pretty decent profit, too. Had a pretty sweet DJ system with pro gear & lasers, strobes & a smoke machine. Cover charge got beer & music. Other drinks & "chemicals" were available, for a price. Fortunately, none of the skeezy women that were regulars charged for their outrageous drunken antics... /sober for a while now... |

Seriously, I couldn't care less about the so called strip club, but if the allegations of sexual and other abuse are true, those kids need to be out of there permanantly. And as o4tuna pointed out, these kids are likely to already be special needs even before the abuse. sick. |
||
| Saborlas I love how the headline focuses on the unlicensed strip club and mentions NOTHING about how the kids were routinely beaten and molested. Thanks for showing your priorities, subby. I spent some time in a foster-home-for-profit that was almost as bad at smacking the kids around. A point was made to never draw blood (can't have evidence on clothes, now). My heart goes out to these kids because I know that level of terror and trauma. They have a long struggle ahead, and it's almost guaranteed that at least one will give up on that struggle and end up dead of either an OD or straight-up suicide. |

Nobody is going to say that the photo at the top of the story looks like an old President Obama? |
