For a business school dean? Of course it was; he was probably trying to explain -with hefty sarcasm and plenty of expletives- why he was too big a deal to get his car towed. Wouldn't be the first business student/grad/alumni/prof/administrator to get done in by his own moronic hubris.

Are you kidding? Some people have guns and get really pissed when you tow their car. Other people have a valid reason (e.g., the tow driver is towing the wrong car) and if the tow driver stops, then he might have to drop the car and SOMEONE is going to pay the fee for the tow (and the "storage fees") and it's NOT going to be the tow driver.

Those guys are NASTY, and I've never dealt with a towing company that wasn't willing to break the law to tow more cars. (Not that they're not honest ones out there, it's just I've never encountered one).
