| jake_lex "I am aware at one point of time Adolf Hitler was the most hated person on Earth for the genocide of the Jews. But my father added 'Lu' in between, naming me Adolf Lu Hitler, and that's why I am different," Hitler told The Associated Press from the small village of Mansingre, 125 miles west of Gauhati, the capital of the nearby state of Assam. Well, all right then. /changes his name to Joseph Mary Stalin |

How about "I'm not a racist, genocidal maniac?" or can he not make that claim? |

For the life of me can never understand the fascination some British has with Adolf Hitler. I came across a cheap paperback book once about a murder mystery set in 1944 England. The writer started right off the bat placing the story in an alternate universe where England surrendered to Germany two years prior. The author made it sound like a grand idea that saved a lot of British lives. I can't tell you how the book went because I couldn't finish the chapter, just absolute rubbish. And now this story. /I hope most British were glad to see the Nazi's loose. //They lost many for the effort, atleast appreciate it ///No hard feelings for a guy's unfortunate name, after all the Hitler family is still around |

A good book by a good author, if you'd finish it. And Len Deighton knows just a tad bit about British history and World War II. |

I told the immigration staff I possibly didn't have a role in my naming," he said. Imagining this being said in the polite British tones of an Indian politician is the second-funniest thing about it. |

He struck a chord with the voters when he pledged not to go on a killing spree. Prof. Farnsworth: But, like most politicians, he promised more than he could deliver. |

I just like the helpful little highlights the journalist added to the side, for our mocking purposes. It's like a shiatty little SOL test for a middle schooler. Adolf Lu Hitler is a 54-year-old father of three Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' is on display in Indian bookstores Using well-known names is not uncommon in the state |
||
| JasonOfOrillia I'm watching Iron Sky right now so I'm getting a kick out of this. |

Hitler's in the charts again. |
||
| PsiChick Names have many meanings. The name 'Ngaire', for example, is a female Maori traditional name meaning 'silver fern'. Names can also change over time; for example, the name 'Adolf Hitler', which once used to hold a unique and unknown meaning, now is commonly considered to mean 'Child of the Village Idiots'. |

FTA "India played little role in World War II" Reality "Later on during the Second World War the Indian Army would become the largest all-volunteer force in history, rising to over 2.5 million men in size. "About 87,000 Indian soldiers lost their lives during this conflict. Indian soldiers won 30 Victoria Crosses.." I don't expect much from that shat newspaper but this statement is total horseshat and disrespectful. |

Indain soldiers helped the British fight the Afrika Korps, plus they had that whole "try-to-not-get-taken-over-by-Japan" thing. |
