| Cosmk There's an outside chance on this happening...we shall see. |
| Mike Oh, I'll probably show up. Again. Sorry. :) |
| I_C_Weener Bukharin: I_C_Weener: How far is this from the Hyatt at 151 East Wacker Drive? I'm thinking of extending my time to attend. Couple of miles, $25 or so cab fare. but you could take the red/brown line trains pretty easy. Cab it is. I can't handle mass transit. |
| Scottybobotty
Well if that douchehat aquigley is going then I won't be attending. It's going to be full of Trixies and Chaz, anyway... |
| gameshowhost Will there be nudity this time? The last one was disappointing. |
| KoalaFace gameshowhost: Will there be nudity this time? The last one was disappointing. that is dependent on how many birthday shots people bbuy me.... |

If I can convince the missus, I'll be there. |
| KangTheMad Oh fer fark's sake, do I really have to wait two more years before I can legally even be at one of these? |
| KangTheMad KangTheMad: Oh fer fark's sake, do I really have to wait two more years before I can legally even be at one of these? I am not complaining about the location, I am complaining about my age. |

KangTheMad: KangTheMad: Oh fer fark's sake, do I really have to wait two more years before I can legally even be at one of these? I am not complaining about the location, I am complaining about my age. You can stand outside in the rain and look in through the window at us laughing, rolling our cigars and twirling our mustaches. We might even raise a sifter of brandy in your general direction. |

AssAsInAssassin: Holy Fark! I'll be in Chicago that week. Gonna see Roger Waters' "Wall" concert with my bro on the 8th. Not sure if I'll be able to make it to the Fark Party, but we'll see. Hey, I'm going to be at that show too! Not going to be able to stick around for any Fark party though. |
| birdmanesq aquigley: Friction8r: A Fark Liberal Circle Jerk Clique party complete with obnoxious, loud, blowhard yankee Chicago dweebs? Yeah - notsomuch. this was fantastic I'm going to make a tee-shirt with that on it and wear it to the party. Why hasn't anybody sponsored Friction8r yet? |
| Ikam
birdmanesq: I'm going to make a tee-shirt with that on it and wear it to the party. T-shirts all around! Although I still find the notion of Midwesterners as 'Yankees' a bit odd, but then again, I have a bunch of family from New England, where they take being a 'Yankee' pretty seriously. They even have a magazine (my grandmother subscribed to it). So I've never been comfortable with the notion of a midwesterner as a Yankee. |

| rezin8 Weird... I try to go to the Facebook party page, and it doesn't allow me. I guess I'm not invited... |

If you are talking about little old ladies and their sewing circles from New Hampshire or Maine etc. then, well, they aren't so bad and I'd say give 'em a pass. |

Ask someone from another country what a Yankee is, they'll say, "An American." Ask a Southerner what a Yankee is, they'll say, "A Northerner." Ask a Northerner what a Yankee is, they'll say, "A New Englander." Ask a New Englander what a Yankee is, they'll say, "Someone who still uses an outhouse." /count me and the g.f. in tentatively for the party //she has no idea what the fark is fark, but she loves to drink ///and it's not too far from her place |

I too can't see the facebook event. |
| Bukharin
QifutuWahuta: I too can't see the facebook event. Facebook borked the last event. Even though I selected public it was blocked. I emailed their support desk, but I think theyve been too busy with hookers and blow. Lets try this again... https://www.facebook.com/events/3449 80728903043/ |

Lets try this again... https://www.facebook.com/events/34498 0728903043/ The fail that is facebook's event system shines through. That one's borked too. I guess it doesn't matter since I'm going to show up anyway. |
| Bukharin
QifutuWahuta: The fail that is facebook's event system shines through. OK, there seems to be an issue if you create an event while in a group page, only the group can see it even if it's "public" You have to go to your own profile a create the event from there. This one works. https://www.facebook.com/events/2663 05500133516/ Oh, and update on the bar, it's $35, not $30. The waitress was wrong... or the owner jacked the price. I donno which for sure. |
| staplermofo Woo, different bar, woooo! |
| Huck Chaser Aw... I was just thinking that I'd like to actually attend a Fark party soon, but I'll be traveling for work for this one. Oh well, next time I guess. |

I am not complaining about the location, I am complaining about my age. what's even more retarded is that you can vote, get drafted and die in a war, buy porn, and get married, but god forbid you drink farking retards (not you, the tards who think 21 drinking age keeps drinking down...) |

I'd love to go, but my newest crotchfruit is making his debut on the 15th, so my waddling ass will be staying in the burbs. Can we please have another one sometime this summer, Buk? With a 17 month old and a newborn, hubby and I will need an escape. :-) |

Thinking about attending... |
| maq0r
Can someone recommend me a good hotel? I moved from venezuela to the US a few months ago and I'm sort of near Chicago (SE Iowa) so I might be able to attend, want to know Chicago so what better place to start than with a fark party? |

Hotels are like $400 a night downtown...stay by the airport. I'd put you up at my hotel, but we're at $399. |
