David Schwimmer must have used her life force to never age.

It's very thoughtless of some women to get older, yes. If I were an attractive 25-year-old actress, I would simply retain the exact same body and face for the next thirty years out of courtesy to all the men who might wish to look at recent pictures of me and experience erections. Shameful that some cannot rise to this basic level of consideration for others.

Sort of a damned if you do/don't thing. If you don't get work done as a woman in show business, you're out of a job by 35 and people comment on how old and frumpy you look.

If you do get work done, you can extend your viability a bit longer and hang around the industry, until even the best clinics can't put off time any longer and then people comment on how old and unnatural you look.
  • For some reason I thought she was playing Dr. Smith in the Netflix reboot of Lost In Space. But it's not her. It's Parker Posey. I guess I don't remember what Courtney Cox looked like.
  • the only problem with this is the sadly true phrase "scream franchise".

sure "scream" was a reasonably good and VERY fun horror popcorn flick which also smartly called out TONS of horror cliches/tropes -all without being SO obvious as to make the actual plot of the film cheesy beyond the point of real fun.

even including the trailer-tease that drew barrymore might be the "final girl" when she was first to die (oops! 24-year-old-spoiler)! in short, it was fun AND kinda brilliant.

making it into just another "franchise" killed all that smart sass and implied commentary. yeah, all ANY actor will signal by returning to this "franchise" is that their own career is as dead as the deliberate irony of "scream: 1".

boo on all the people making this film.
  • I legitimately forgot she was even in that movie. She can do the Ace Ventura reboot next.

right after the reboot of Masters of the Universe too.

  • I was looking forward to her starring in, "The Crows Have Eyes 2."

Jenifer Aniston and Nia Long(both older than Cox) bucks the getting old trend.

Parker Posey is underrated and gorgeous.

Really? There's tons of work for character actresses who don't jack-up their mugs every on literally hundreds of shows, like every day of the week.
  • Still waiting on her glorious return to the Leprechaun franchise.

Getting old trend? News flash, we all get old. Most of us just aren't under the same merciless scrutiny that most Hollywood women actors are.

Plastic surgery on one's face is rarely a good idea. At best, you look frozen, at worst, you look like one of those saran-wrapped cat people like Paul Simon or Christa Miller. Better to age normally, eat a balanced diet, and exercise. Mid-50s isn't that old anymore.

If only Courteney Cox had gone to the best clinic.

Speaking of someone who's managed to age gracefully, Parker Posey is great.
