  • Porcello is straight garbage too. Like, he should probably stop pitching period.

Hey, they were in it until August, that's a rarity for them.

Almost all of their pitching has been terrible this year. I can't blame it all on Thor and Stroman being out, but that certainly hasn't helped
  • same story as last year.  they were trash, then woke up after the ASG just enough to get the fans overexcited, then turned back to crap in late august

problem with the short season being that there aren't enough games to get them to the point where they turned it around
  • Well accursed Mets fans, you're in luck, since the season may end tomorrow.  You may even finish only four games under .500.

I think the season ends as soon as the Phillies start having more than 1 or 2 positive tests.
  • Believing in the Mets is like believing you can stop 50 caliber bullets with your face.

What about four more Cardinals players?

    Oh sh*t. I hadn't heard that. They're boned.
  • My Red Sox are a hot mess right now.  Opened the season with a number 4 or 5 starter, and the pitching only went downhill from there.

I'm not really complaining, Dombrowski did sell the future to get us another Championship, it's just a lot less pitching talent now that the ugly future has arrived.

I'm still watching, listening to the games, just like in the old days, I'm rooting for my team to break .500, or maybe approach .500.  Oh well.

It's spreading through the Cards at the moment.

At least they're spreading the virus The Right Way.
  • I hate the Mets bullpen more than I hate all of my teams' biggest rivals. Even the new guys jumped in and got quickly acclimated to sucking.

Fark this team. I wasn't all that optimistic about this year, especially after Syndergaard going down, so I'm not really disappointed. Just tired of watching these slap dicks figure out a new way to lose every night.

The supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy sucks less than the Mets.

Still not over Beltran taking that called strike three in the NLCS. There is nothing to be gained in expecting good things from the Mets.

/Don't get me started on Kenny Rogers' walk off walk

Finding out that Trump was looming in the background of Beltran's strikeout was just... I have no words.

I think my father broke me because I enjoy these rebuilding times more than when the Sox/Pats are dominant.

I need that struggle to really get emotional about it.

I also swear at the tv a lot more.

So you're saying he didn't know when to hold 'em or fold 'em.

As a Brave's fan, I found last night's game wildly entertaining.  Bonkers, even.
  • I wonder how the Marcel Ozuna trade is going for the Braves.  I was told it was a terrible.  Let me check...

    LOLOLOL!!!

This thread is a safe space for Mets fans to biatch about our team. Fans of more successful teams are not allowed to contribute.
  • And now Cespedes has opted out of the season by way of not bothering to tell anyone and not showing up for the game.  I guess MLB baseball is more dangerous than a wild boar.
