  • How long were they starving her? McDonalds, for that?
  • If you don't want to read it all, in addition to his sentencing he will also have to register as a predatory sex offender.  Good, I think.

I don't know WTF he was thinking but I can't imagine the hell he'll confront once he's done his 120 and is on his 7 of probation.  He's about to have a lifetime to think about what he did.  Should his hell end at some point?
  • This is an egregious crime.

A blowie should be good for at least Wendy's.
  • Ba Da Ba Ba....I'm suckin' it

It's skeezy to say the least and he should definitely be blacklisted from any job involving command authority over others (the same way any record of financial crimes equals you will never have a job at a bank).

But I hardly think a food-for-sex exchange, even with a degree of coercion (and let's not pretend it was any more than a relatively minor degree... It's not as if she was going to starve and he demanded a BJ before giving her food to live unless there's a HELL of a buried lede), rises to the kind of offence the registry was supposedly for. Of course, they also destroy people's lives with it for pissing in public while drunk apparently.

I think there is a lot going on and I definitely think he is a predator in the sense that he willfully took advantage of a situation whether or not he orchestrated the creation of that moment.  He's absolutely a sexual predator.

don't think that he's the sexual predator the law is trying to outline.  He's more like a second degree sexual predator, who took advantage of his position and opportunity.  There's no excuse for any of it, but he's also not (or not yet) a peeping tom crawling through windows.

It's good that he was arrested now, no pun intended.  He could be a complete and total f*cking dumbass who mumbled and bumf*cked his way into an arrest, or it could have been the beginning of a career of use, abuse, and a whole lot worse.

I guess it was up to the DA on the charges but as it is, having to tell all the neighbors all the time for the rest of your life, maybe this wasn't the one.  Or maybe it was.

It's absolutely the one. He used his power over a defenseless individual to force an unwanted sex act.  That's much worse than your average groper or flasher.

Ideally, the average jail security guard is going to refuse sex acts even from willing inmates on ethical grounds and the bad ones will stick to trading poop chute smuggled doobies for mcmuffins like honorable reprobates.
  • 433: Should his hell end at some point?

Police who use prisoners as sex toys?

I know you aren't whiteknighting here, and that you're one of the good farkers, but abuse of power like this is never a one-off thing, and at this point in history, we are reaching a tipping point of public support for policing practices in general. Expect more of this kind of story as the demand for action increases.
  • 433: (or not yet) a peeping tom crawling through windows.

    No, he's far worse.
  • uttertosh: 433: (or not yet) a peeping tom crawling through windows.

Yeah.  It's a leverage of power and position, leeksfromchichis was on it, as well the prison guard analogy.  It's real real f*ckin' not good.

I don't know how these things are scheduled, I presume there is already a framework.  Gross abuse of power is a different offense from crawling through a window and raping.  Let's face it, this guy is not the Nightstalker, though to his victim(s) and to us he is as despicable as anyone else.

It reminds me of recent things in the news, 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree murder.  Imagine that you had to have to go and introduce yourself to everyone but swear that you're only a 2nd degree predatory sex offender.  Aside from the human suffering, that's hilarious.

    This.
  • It's not like he couldn't have found a civilian to blow him in return for a takeaway meal. Sure that civilian might have been less attractive, the wrong gender or significantly diseased but I've no doubt if he looked hard enough he'd have found somebody.

He's going to jail for being predatory, quite rightly. If his thing was actually scoring the cheapest bj he could obtain he'd have been able to do this without being predatory on the open market. If his thing was scoring a bj from someone he found attractive he needed to pay the market rates for that.

My guess is he got off on being predatory, so it's off to jail for him.
  • What if you are a inmate and you get a blowie for giving a guy a chocolate milk?
    Asking for a friend.
  • Curious that the article doesn't mention his retirement.  Usually corrections jobs come with 20-and-out or something similar.

His career is obviously over, he has a period of incarceration and a lifetime of employment and housing barriers, but in some places he might still be able to keep his pension.
  • Reported for headline calling out a farker.
  • McD's really? Their food is garbage.  I don't blame the prison guard really, I mean $6 for a blow job that's a value meal if I ever saw one.  The inmate on the other hand hugely undersold their position.  Anything but McD's still wouldn't be worth it but you'd still have your self respect.
  • Beehler? More like beejay.
  • "Got yer all beef patties here, and you can have 'em after you take delivery of my special sauce."
  • Well, at least he knows how to get some McDonald's if he has a craving. . .

    Wait, you're serious...

/look around you, how many people are driven by ethics?
//in countries where the public are rioting to NOT be killed by cops

    1) I think this guy should be behind bars
    2) I don't know where you picked up "forced" from this story

Do you not understand how someone in a cage is necessarily in a power imbalance or do I have to dog walk you?
