  • Well, that should shine a light on some things....
  • It's not a lake, it's an ocean.
  • With any luck, they'll make a version that doesn't suck. Alan Wake is one of the rare games I returned on Steam, even after buying it at like a 75% discount.

    That was YOU?

I signed up for a psychological horror game about an author, and instead got a shiatty 3rd-person shooter about an author. With zombies. But they didn't call them zombies, I don't think. Or maybe they did? I don't know. It was bad.
  • Maybe they'll actually get around to conclusion to what they set up between that, the DLC and short stand alone title. Or maybe it's meta-commentary on Stephen King endings by not having one.

Though they did that again with Quantum Break so maybe they just don't like conclusions.

Control had a decent end at least.

    Did you play Control: AWE?

Nope, I thought Control was only ok though the Ashtray maze was fantastic and decided to give it a break for a while before trying the DLC out. Then I forgot all about it, should give that a shot sometime.
  • So... Many... Thermoses.
  • I always wondered, how do people not from the PNW appreciate the PNW feeling of this game?

Awe all but confirms alan wake 2 and also is a great wrap up to the current story. Highly worth playing
  • Remedy games really interest me in that it feels like they're still using a lot from Max Payne in terms of the core foundation of all of their games, at least code-wise.  The instant I played Alan Wake, it reminded me of how Max Payne controlled, and the same went for Control.  I like developers who seem to be able to iterate over their gameplay like that.
