  • Got it paused at the beginning on DVD right now, waiting for something to finish. May be a bit before I can join in the conversation.
  • Cool that the team has the kept the Golden Age outfits.

    "Hi, my name is Art."
  • I watched the first season of Stargirl and I thought it had potential, which is why I watched the whole season.

More of the same, or does it improve? I'm honestly curious.

I'm liking it so far. But then again, Eclipso is a villain I'm thrilled to see on-screen for the first time.
  • Nyxly holds grudges like TFG.

    K
  • Supergirl and Brainy doing a PSA for eating your vegetables..  yep, that was cringy  as F.

Nia got her mother back, just long enough to be told about the magnitude of her mistake.  I guess she also learned that ravens in her dreams represent the sister who won't forgive her for inheriting the powers.

Nxy plotted well, and they did not see the trap coming.  'Only magic can break you out of magic.'  So Kara immediately called upon Mr. Mxyzptlk.  That's kinda a desperation move.. but this version of Mxy was trying to get into her pants when they first met, so he may help.  I see the name of the next episode is 'Mxy in the Middle'.  Sounds like we'll also catch up with Lena Luthor in Ireland as she's been looking for the other side of her family.
  • Who is the mechanic Zeke? He's getting similar play to the secret hero janitor from last season.

So far, a whole lot of nothing has happened in S2.

Mxy should've been played by Gilbert Gottfried.

It took awhile for much to happen in S1, too.

Season 1's Secret Hero Janitor was The Shining Knight.

Right. So who do we think Zeke the mechanic might be this season? His character is being presented in a very similar fashion.

Good question. Who's left of the Golden Age characters of DC and the companies DC bought?
  • (Just finished watching SG)

Oooh, there's a bomb in the building.  Sure could be handy to have a walking, talking EMP to disable the bomb.

Never seemed like his power was EMP anyway.  EMP wouldn't knock Supergirl off her feet.

On Tuesday nights these days, you can't just abbreviate a show as "SG." :-)
