  • Sorry for the headline error. I submitted it to the Admins. Hope they fix it.
  • Before DC shows on The CW is the only time I watch Daytime Jeopardy and Family Feud. I must say, Steve Harvey flubbed a golden opportunity. The question was something about what people would want as much of as they want in Heaven, and one of the contestants said "Boat." He got his "uh, yeah" look on his face, and she said, "It's up there." He said, "It may be up there, but it's sure not in Heaven." He should've said, "It may be up there," (gesturing to the board) "... but it's sure not up there" (pointing straight up towards Heaven)."

/He called it the worst question ever asked on the show, and that he was ashamed of the 100 "goin'-to-Hell" people surveyed. Answers included booze, thongs, etc. ― I kid you not.
  • Thanks, Admin. :-)
  • "You are a white man in 1925..."
  • Uh-oh, Shouldn't've tried to pretend to be J. Edgar Hoover.
  • My apologies to everyone else in the universe but Ringmaster Sarah is now the hottest entity in existence.

    I'm inclined to agree.
  • Time travel.
    Sooo complicated.
  • Okay, Mad Hatter 2.0 is a pretty scary dude.
  • The Dork Knight

    Perfect!
  • Please tell me we're getting a Rule 34 joke out of this.
  • It's been a while since any of these shows have been on one of my nights off work, let alone two of them.

But neither of them are on the CW app yet, so I still have to wait and check back later.
  • On another note, Arrow actress Julianna Harkavy posted what seems to be a wedding photo online today.  I have no idea who the lucky guy is.

I mean, there's also lensflare Gideon.

    you mean J.J. Abrams erotica?
  • Legends:

I'm not sure I want a full season of them in 1925.  They made a few mistakes, like impersonating J. Edgar Hoover.. the real one showed up, and now he's dead.  Astra tried to rebuild the Waverider; good idea, but too ambitious.  But at the end, we got flesh and blood Gideon in (nearly) all her glory. (Giggity)

When they get to New York, I'm guessing the scientist they find looks a lot like John Constantine.
  • Batwoman:

I'd heard of the Mad Hatter before, but I had no idea he had a high tech top hat that turned him into Kilgrave. Forcing Mary to remove organs from her professor until he dies.. yeah, that's part of what makes Batwoman the darkest DC show on the CW.

We're also introduced to Renee Montoya.  I didn't watch the Birds of Prey movie, so I'm not really familiar with the character, but she's not making a good first impression with Ryan, forcing her to work with Alice.

I guess the woman we saw get off the helicopter near the end actually IS Ryan's birth mother.  And now she's alerted that someone's interested in her past.

The season is off to a good start.  Though Luke's Batwing suit having a message from his father is a little cheesy.
  • Wait.. looking at the cast for that last episode..  Robin Givens as 'Jade Jet'.  The woman getting off the helicopter with an entourage?

I know you said you don't watch it, but Stargirl has gotten pretty dark. The Big Bad this season is Eclipso, who'd being portrayed as basically Satan.

Re: your comments on Supergirl in the now-closed thread, yeah, super-hearing is probably not the best Kryptonian power to try out first. Then again, heat vision would probably have been much worse. Super strength if limited to lifting something? Maybe demonstrate invulnerability by trying to burn a hair with a match? Best to start with, say, microscopic vision.

I also hope that Nyxly's "secret admirer" is Lex. We've got five episodes left in the series, and as I said in that thread, I hope they stick the landing. Having Cryer's Lex back for the finale could do the trick. Best on-screen Lex ever, big or small, live-action or animated. Yes, even better than Clancy Brown's DCAU Lex, and I didn't think that that was possible.
  • Next week on Legends of Tomorrow..

  • After the end of last season I thought we were finally done with "The Alice Show!".  Well, I'm done. I don't care if Superman, Justice Society, and Diggle as Green Lantern all make a simultaneous guest appearance on Batwoman, I'm not watching.
