It's worse than that. They didn't work for Samsung, they were subcontractors of a third party firm that had a contract with Samsung.

Samsung hired the company that did this, the people doing the work were doing so as agents of Samsung. If Samsung does not want to be associated with such exploitative work arrangements then they should fix this situation. Samsung.
