envirovore: Because obsessing over Star Wars spin offs and Startrek qualify you as a nerd? I thought that was just being a fanboy and 'nerds' did cool shiat like figure out how to make a computer in Minecraft to play doom on, or hacked together a bunch of hardware components in some absurd way to make a box that automatically entertains cats just because they can, or some other actual technical related sh*t.

It's animated. About kids and for kids. Cardboard characters. I gave up during season 2.

jlee4677: I watched the first 2 seasons of The Boys and it is getting to the lets do outrageous things just for shock value instead of making the story better. This is very much like Garth Innis style (and Mark Millar) but sometimes less is better.
I mean it is a Garth Ennis comic, so I'd expect them to push the line as far as they can. I haven't kept up with the show though, is it fairly faithful?

It's faithful in the tone of the books but they did change some things. The actor who plays Homelander and the character is very good, best thing on the show.

Looking forward to Kenobi because E.M. was the best thing about the prequels and he was completely under used (of course). Though I'm a bit nervous how the production budget will be ga had the mini-series been a tent pole movie.
Zero interest in the new Game of Thrones. The show and books had their moment, and it's over.

It's about six teenagers trying to survive/escape Isla Nublar. My son (5) loves it and I know he'll be excited about more episodes.
It's not bad, more engaging than I thought it would be. Definitely one of the shows that I can watch with him and not hate every second that it's on.
