thatguyoverthere70: The cast is just too big now, obviously. Lorne used to run the show with an iron fist. Now cast members sign in the week before the season premiere and show up whenever they feel like it. Some actors dream of being on SNL, and now it's Pete Davidson's part time job.
You either give leeway for people having other opportunities or you lose them altogether.
I have no problem with any of it.

The others were good. Chevy is the classic. It's like comparing James Bond's to Connery. There are some good, even great ones, but Connery is always the standard from which we compare to.
That said, Che and [white guy married to woman none of us have a shot with] are by far the funniest anchors in the role since Chevy Chase. I'd even argue they're the best, period.

Punky will be gone. Sarah may surprise us. Atari (yes spelled wrong) seems like he's vanished. New Biden and trump I like.

I think Chloe and Heidi can be the new Cecily and Kate. I can see Alex or Mikey leaving as well.
They're all super talented. I'll miss the old, and will embrace the new.
