These aren't trade secrets.

This isn't a case of national security.
It's the people's court. And any arguments should be based on logical interpretations of constitutional law.

The real problem is there's a class of politicians and political hacks (on the Supreme Court) who want to subjugate or allow for the subjugation of most of us without our noticing.
Yeah. These chodes go on hunting trips with rich donors and Republican potentates, they go to secretive retreats suggestive of illicit (sexual) activity (where Scalia died), they are infested with all manner of conflicts of interest. But leak of an opinion is the worst thing conceivable.
It's all about the trappings of decorum and not actual decorum. Like how Rehnquist put those dipshiat naval stripes on his robes because he liked a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta. They're a bunch of preening goons.

It's not some attack on the institution or a gambit to strengthen or weaken the opinion itself or affect the midterms. It's just information following the path of least resistance right through a known gap in the court's integrity.
