abhorrent1:$2 round steaks (with the round bone) are what I get when I give my dog a steak as a treat. I can't think of anything else they're good for.
I guess if you trim off all the gristle and fat, cut it up small enough and cook it for like 8 hours in a stew or something it might be edible.
Nope it would be dry as fark. Round is for roasting not braising, not enough fat in it. Your Dog is lucky to have you tho, I'm sure he loves it.
A year or two ago, there was a company advertising frozen steaks from a company renting parking lot spaces around the state, if not the region. Ridiculously cheap prices, and as it became apparent from comments from previous customers, ridiculously nasty steak.
Take 4 of those rump steaks, put them in a slow cooker with 1/4 cup or so of water. Season with salt and pepper, and crushed Ancho peppers if you got 'em. Cook on low all day. Take them out of the slow cooker. Drain out most of the fat. Shred the rump steaks with two forks. That's the meat for your chili. Put it back in the slow cooker along with all the other stuff you normally make your chili with.
Alternatively, instead of chili, shred the meat and drown it in barbecue sauce. Serve on a bun with a slice of cheese and a slice of onion.

Thread over.
Also, only a skank would agree to a dinner date at Poundland. But a really classy lady would be thrilled to go to Fourrière.

It's a bit muddy, but sometimes you just have to dive right in.
But sometimes it comes right at you
