I guess Riverdale really is the murder capital of the world, then.

He just couldn't handle all the fame.
  • Nutraloaf cheeseburgers? Yuuuck!
  • Riverdale is... such a weird show.

Past the first season, it's kinda sublimely bad. I don't know if it's on purpose. But I hope it is. They're doing something very special. Very bad, and very special.

/ describing seasons of Riverdale to people who haven't seen them is the best thing about the show.
// you sound like you're just making shiat up. It's insane.
  • Meh.

In all fairness, the cheeseburger joke only make sense if TFA involved the actor who plays Jughead.

/Used to read old Archie comics from the early 70s at my Grandparents' house.

It's still part of the joke, it's just the part where you thought you knew what the joke was about until.  Fark headlines are built for misdirection and admins love it.
  • According to prosecutors, Grantham shot his mother in the back of the head while she was playing the piano at home -- the following day he loaded his car with guns, ammo, Molotov cocktails, and directions to Rideau Cottage -- where Canadian PM Justin Trudeau lives.

No kidding, then when Chilling Adventures of Sabrina got released they let viewers believe the shows would crossover at some point. Nope, never happened (just lame kinda name-drop type shiat). Anyhoo, Sabrina just got progressively terrible storywise as the lead actress went from bad to worse (it was something to behold, she was doing some Megan Boone cosplay there by the end) it all became a huge waste of everyone's time. I haven't even bothered to finish the remaining eps of the last season.

Sabrina showed up this past season of Riverdale but it was after her show was over.

    The Sabrina/Sabrina crossover was amusing.

Did they bring Salem back at least?!

Let's hear more about the 14 or 15 hours in the middle here, where mom was facedown on the piano keys while this guy was presumably strolling around the house, packing.

The Sabrina team shouldn't have tried to mimic Riverdale as much as they did. It didn't work. They couldn't manage to stay in that "bad, but in a fascinating way" territory that Riverdale has since at least season 2.

/ Also, they picked badly-cliche The End instead of End of the Night.
// For when the Night Coven had just been disbanded!
/// End of the Night is on the same album and has a similar dour tone, it was perfect to the point that it's like it was written for the show.
\/ But no. The End. Just like 100 other pieces of media.

They did something similar years ago when an actor who had appeared in a non-speaking role in a single episode of Power Rangers was convicted of triple murder.
